double stroller option for carseat holder

I just got a sit n stand a few months back..the one that doesn't have the removable seat in the back. It came with a universal car seat adaptor for the front seat that takes just about every type of car seat. I have a duoglider as well, and we don't even use it right now. It's HUGE. The sit n stand is smaller, lighter and folds more compactly, imo. My only complaint is that it doesn't stand up on it's own when you fold it like the bigger doubles do, and that it doesn't have a rear canopy. We solved the rear canopy issue by buying a sunshade that clips onto the stroller from onestepahead.com. The only steering issue I have noticed is on a hill, and most double strollers give me trouble on any kind of incline. Good luck!

I found mine at Target, then ended up getting the same one from walmart online.....it was cheaper.

I pulled the assembled one down at Target to see it more closely, but they didn't have the car seat adaptor on there. I would think that if you went to a Babies R Us they could help you a little better. What type of carseat do you have? I can see if I can find my booklet that came with it that lists all the types of carseats it takes.

We bought one when we had #2 five years ago. I've never had problems with it; it pushes very well. It's sturdy and the kids seemed comfortable. The nice thing about it is that it's not wider than a single, so shopping in stores is easy.

It is really big to fold up and take on the bus at Disney, but we did it. Our son was only 7 weeks old on that trip, so we wanted a full sized stroller for him to nap in. For the next trip when they were 1 and 3, we bought a side by side umbrella stroller, which was easier on the buses.

I have seen the sitn stand at babies r us, and if you have one in your area buybuybaby store has LOTS of strollers that you can try out. I have been trying a ton out. I have been looking at Phil & Ted stroller and at the Baby Jogger city series for the light weight and easy fold and compact size when folded. They are a bit pricey around $400 though - but I am loking for the long haul and not having to buy a ton of strollers to find the one I want.

We bought a sit-n-stand a month ago and really like it. Right now we are using the baby carrier from our old system with it. Our youngest DS is 4 months but we wanted something our oldest DS5 could use on occasion, especially at WDW! We tried it at Target before we bought it to make sure it would handle alright with both boys since the oldest is quite big for his age. It was lighter and much more compact than others we looked at. When it's folded it doesn't really seem that much bigger than the single I had for DS5. I also don't like the fact it doesn't stand on it's own, but it's not that big a deal to me.
