We are taking our Girls to WDW for the first time in April!!!! Has anyone had a problem getting a double stroller on a United flight? I have a Baby Jogger Citi Select which is sorta big but breaks down into several parts. Has anyone else brought a baby Jogger or similar large double stroller on a plane recently? Has anyone had a stroller turned away at the Gate due to size? Any advice would be much appreciated!:)

I have brought many double strollers on United. They will make you gate check it. Make sure any loose pieces like cup holders are removed and stored. Their is a chance they could fall off.

We use a Maclaren Twin Triumph when we are flying. You still have to gate check it, but it fold up like an umbrella stroller, so it is a little bit easier to deal with. Plus, we have three little ones, so we actually have a second single stroller.

Are you trying to get it on the plane or just gate check it?

Just gate check...I have seen people use double strollers that fold up, but mine is more complicated... the base folds up, bu the seats pop out and detach... My charming spouse just informed me that the whole thing has a carrying case... I hope that expedites things, but I would hate to fall victim to the everchanging whims of the airtravel gods...LOL....I have never traveled by air with my kids before....:scared:

We are going in April also and also on United and also taking a double stroller! :cool1: I think you should have no problem gate checking it, if you have a bag even better it will keep the stroller nice and clean and protect it. I have DD5 and a DS2 and this is their first time at Disney, my DS2 first time flying, and my first time flying with two kids. Should be a fun adventure!
