Let me start off by saying I am a stroller addict.

I am looking for a very lightweight stroller for my 1 yr old twins. I already have a Jeep Umbrella Stroller and I don't like the way it handles and no storage. I also have the Baby Jogger City Mini, which I LOVE but I am looking for something even lighter and folds and STAYS folded.

I was set on the Aria twin, but it seems to get bad reviews. I love the fact that it is SO lightweight, folds easily and has a front tray for the kids, and a decent basket.

I have a single Combi and Mac for my older DS--which I have LOVED. My problem with the Mac is that it has no front tray and I REALLY want one for the twins. My single Combi had no tray just the bar, but now I see they do have cupholders. The basket underneath is just so small.

So what do you all think?

What about a Phil & Teds? Every mom I know that has one is THRILLED with it. It's what I will be getting in a few months!

I have the aria twin. I bought it when my oldest son was 6 months and it is great. The basket can't handle heavy weights because then it drags but it is a great travel stroller as it folds into a flat long rectangle. It is harder to push when the kids get heavier. It has been to disney 3 times and my youngest 2 are getting to heavy but they are 30 and 40 pounds. The stroller has held up great and it is 6 years old.

Have you looked at the Chicco? The reviews are better than the Maclaren stroller. And another one that I've fallen in love with is the Joovy Groove 2. Sturdy, roomy but still light.

I had a Chicco and HATED it!!! It seriously weighed 35 lbs all by itself...add 50 plus pounds of kid and it was impossible to push. Plus it did not fold up very small at all and took up the entire back of my van. And the shades both snapped in half in my folding attempts...once they replaced the entire stroller, the second time I replaced it with a Mac Twin Triumph which I like MUCH better!

My two are 6 and 4 now and never use a stroller except for Disney...saving the Mac for maybe one more trip next summer. Didn't take it to Disneyland last week, and that was a BIG mistake, said as we rented one every day...

I had the Combi for my 2 and 4 year olds and we broke the axle in WDW. The kids were about 25 and 40 pounds each at the time. I don't know if the airline damaged it or if it was DH ;), but we made it through our trip, but it wan't the sturdiest of strollers in our experience!

We have a Combi Twin Savvy and my girls love it. Got it two years ago when DD2 was born.

The baskets underneath look small, but I have gotten some decent sized bags in there!! The girls like to pull down their sunshades (I like how it extends a little further than average) and are comfortable in it. The bar on ours has three cup holders, and it came with the parent pouch/water bottle holder which I find handy for my keys and cell phone.

We saw lots of Combis at WDW on our last trip.

Happy shopping!!

We have the Combi for travelling... not in love with the way it handles, but it is so convenient for rental cars and theme parks with how compact it is. At home we used the Mountain Buggy Urban Double from day 1.... it was our favorite "kid purchase" and handled and maneuvered PERFECT!!! It fit through every doorway/aisle... was comfy and tall for long kids, and was built really well! Expensive but worth every penny!

I have twins and use a MacLaren Twin Techno. I really like it. I used a MacLaren with my oldest, which I bought in 2003 and it's still a good stroller.

I have the DBL CHICCO and I LOVE it! The baskets are easy to access and it handles really well. I have a single MAC and DBL BOB and it handles just as good and I used a 15% off coupon and got it for like $150 @ bru. I have so mnay strollers it almost silly but I really recommend this one.

edited to add: there is no front tray. . . but just make sure if you get the COMBI you check the storage out underneath> I "tested" it at the store and had a hard time getting items in and out of the baskets because it was directly under the seat. There wasnt alot of space between the bottom of the seat and the opening to the storage basket, KWIM?

I love the aria, it is so awesome! I have used the thing to death and it's still chugging. It's incredibly lightweight. We're using a couple sit n stands for our next trip b/c we have some older ones now and I realize how good I have it with the aria being so light. It's real easy to fold too.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

I know the Macs are great strollers, as I have a single. But I really want a bar in the front, so I think those and the Chiccos and Joovys are all out.

I also have a single Combi, so I know the basket is SMALL, but I really like the fold.

So I think I'm between the Combi and the Aria...decisions, decisions...

We have the Aria and we'll be using it at Disney this year. I love mine!

I notice you have twins also. Do you have the Aria that is the 60/40 split? That's one thing that I think is weird for that stroller, if you are using it for twins. But it is hard to find the older models that aren't like that??
