Double Stroller Advice and Tips?

When baby #2 arrives soon I'll have a 23 month old and a newborn. The toddler likes to walk/run everywhere, very resistant to a stroller. He does use the stroller as a landing pad for his naps, though, especially when out all day at places like Diz, the local zoo, the local theme parks, etc.

So, looking at double strollers it seems like most are not set-up for the bigger kid to nap. Most have very little leg room and most don't recline enough for the big kid to be comfy. Anyone have a lead on a stroller or jog stroller that could fit an infant (preferrably in the detachable car seat thing) and a 2 year old that is napping??

Any other insights or tips?

The Maclaren twin triumph is a side by side double, where each side independatly reclines flat - so little ones can nap. It works from newborn on up (I've been with DSister when she put her 2 week old in it along with her 3 yr old).

It DOES NOT hold a car seat though. You would need to shift the infant from the car seat to the stroller, and use it fully flat for a newborn. (I think it has 4 - 5 levels of recline, so you can adjust it to be partially up as baby gets older.

It folds like an umbrella stroller, and would work well past the infant stage for two toddlers on WDW or simliar outings.

I've bought the Twim Maclaren for our house, but have not directly used it yet, as our second is not due for a few months.

We have the Bob Revolution Duo (side by side jogger) and LOVE IT!! It's pricey, but sooo easy to push. Literally can push it with one hand while both kids are in it. Each side reclines seperatly, so one can nap and one can sit if they want. Lots of storage as well. Both seats have a pocket on each side of the seat that is perfect for sippy cups and snacks. Shade is large too. Infant car seats can fit on this one as well, you just have to buy the seperate attachment. Easy 2 step fold up makes it fold up flat, expecially if you take the wheels off, which again is super easy to do. Definatley worth the money!!

We just purchased the Baby Jogger City Select. It just came out this year and so far we love it. It is so easy to push and even easier to fold down. It can be used as a single or as a double and you can buy the car seat attachment for it, which we are currently using.
The leg room in it for our DD who is almost 3 is a little small but there are not a lot of strollers that are going to accommodate the length of a toddler.
Also it is not a side by side which makes it easy to take wherever you need to go and no worries about it not fitting.

yes, it is expensive. Watch for sales on it though. I know USA baby and REI both have some pretty decent sales on them! That's how I got it.
