Egad, the Trolley People! They are around early in the morning, and I do my best to haul butt somewhere other than Main Street, because it's like nails on a chalkboard to me when the music starts.

If you want to ride Dumbo, haul your butts to Fantasyland as fast as your legs can take you after rope drop. The line will be astronomically long if you don't hit that first.

And of the Dole Whip variations, the Dole Whip float is way too sweet. The pineapple soft serve by itself is yummy, but I like the vanilla swirl with it the best, I think.

Your MK day looks fun with lots of new experiences! I was going to say - no rope drop and no dumbo ride kind of go hand in hand. I see BriarRose already gave you the advice! I just rode Dumbo for the first time last year. I didn't know about the views from the treehouse - definately a must do next time!

Maybe you can ask a CM at RD how to get on the trolley, they might have some pull. Maybe they will "haul your butt" closer to Fantasyland!

I figured that was the only hope for Dumbo.....that is probably why I have never ridden it.

I am having such a hard time calling MGM DHS...

Let's see........

Want to watch some of the streetmosphere performers in action. Do they have a schedule for these? We have caught them just by chance most of the time & they are soooooooooo great to watch.

Would love to have several rides on Toy Story Mania & to explore the very cute looking area around it. This will be our first time seeing it at WDW. We rode it in DCA last December & it is really awesome.

Multiple rides on Tower of Terror & Rockin' Rollercoaster just because they are such great rides.

Not sure about this new American Idol Experience.....is it worth the time it takes to do it? We don't watch the show.

Spend some time on the streets taking some pictures. I know there are a couple of doors that actually open & stuff...like a barber shop where you can go in & sit in the chair, but we have never really taken the time to explore this.

Watch the new to us afternoon parade-Block Party Bash.

Enjoy the atmosphere at the Brown Derby for lunch.

Visit the Muppets store....have never been inside & must look for an animal t-shirt for my best friends son.

We have no firm plans for dinner that night. DHS closes at 7 & there is no Fantasmic so I am thinking we may walk over to the Boardwalk after park closing & grab a burger at Big River Grille or head over to ESPN zone as I have heard good things about the grub there. I always enjoy just meandering around the Boardwalk at night.

I have seen pictures somewhere of people in a barber chair....I think it's down a bit from street level & if you try the gate it opens & you can go in....or I might have been dreaming it all up.

So today we are at 10 days out until we arrive at WDW......
So, I was able to do our online DVC check-in today, which is very exciting. Not sure how much time or effort it really saves, but still exciting.
I also did a grocery order from Garden Grocer to be delivered on our arrival day so we can have drinks, breakfast foods & snacks in the room since we will not have a car to do a grocery run. This is the first time we have ever done this so I will let you know how I like it.
Really all that I have left to do is PACK & GO!!!!!!!!!! but right now it feels like it will never get here!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are in the Halloween spirit & mood around here & cannot wait to get to Disney so we can see all the cool Halloween decorations there.
It's a Disney Halloween around our house.

And our baby on the front porch......Bella wishes she could go to Disney World with us.

Animal Kingdom is another park where we have never attended rope drop, so that is something I really want to do as I would love to see Mickey Mouse & friends at the Tree of Life.

Ride Expedition Everest several times...we have only ridden it once.

See Finding Nemo the musical.....I love the puppetry & all the bright colors in this one.

Try to the the safari early & hope we see lots of animals.
Not sure if we will watch the Jammin' Jungle parade. We have seen it before & we like it, but since it's only a 9-5 day not sure we will have time for it.
Watch Flights of Wonder.....I haven't seen this since AK's opening year.

Go to Rafiki's Planet Watch......also something I haven't done since my first visit to Animal Kingdom.

Next up..........meeting our special travel companion.
