Double Mat Suggestion,,, help.

Be sure and not hang the photo so that it doesn't get a lot of daylight. If that orange mat starts to fade, it can get pretty ugly. Granted, it would take quite a few years, but it will happen. I used to re-mat stuff and when i removed the old mats, the section underneath was twice as dark and colorful. No one noticed when it took years for that to gradually happen!

would it be possible for you to post a photo of the matting you mentioned before or a diagram for those of us ( ie me) having a hard time picturing that in our minds...i like the idea and think i may have seen it around but not positive

OK, I do it tonight. It's like 90 in the house (no AC) and I'm not sleeping. I took these with my little point n shoot, so forgive the quality. This should give you an idea what I'm talking about.

thanks i really like that look alot ...I'm hoping to mat/frame some b&ws and would love that with them..now i just have to take the photos i actually like enough to mat and frame
