double mailings

I don't know if this bothers anyone else but everytime I get a mailing I get two, one for each contract. I'm sure this is true of many people. They could save alot of money by having one mailing per household. It just makes so much sense to me. I emailed member service to suggest this. Maybe it would help our dues from going up.

I've got two contacrs, but no double mailings. Are your contracts under the same mebership number?

I believe they mail by membership number. We have two and get two of everything. It is not hard to compare the databases and eliminate duplicate mailings, but then again, it may not be a big enough issue to take the time.

I wonder how many multi-membership number members there are?

So if I was going to buy a reslae for an add on instead of thru DVc again, woudl I get a different membership number or coudl they put the resale contract under my current membership number?

We used to get two of everything and we also thought it was a waste of money and resources. I think we did mention it to MS because now we only get one.

If the resale has the same use year as your current contract I think they combine them into one membership.

We have two contracts & two different use years (two home resorts) so we get two of everything. But, it's not wasted. I keep one set here at home and another at work in my office for those daytime calls to MS.
