I've narrowed it down to the Maclaren Twin Truimph or the Twin Techno...the cost difference is $100 and I figured there might be some owners of them out there that can recommend one. Is the Tecno worth the extra $100?

Thanks!

I just bought the twin techno & love it (though DC#2 hasn't arrived yet). The leg rests sold me on it. DD (18 months) prefers riding in her Peg P3 over the Mac Triumph because it has a deeper seat so I knew she'd like the twin techno better. It also has beefier wheels, head huggers, cold weather boots & an extension thingy to the sun canopy. It just seemed like a better complete package to me. I assume you have checked prices at albeebaby & babydealz. One of them has the 2006 techno for $300.

We have the twin triumph and love it. It's absolutely our favorite stroller for travel and there is nothing that we don't like about it! :)

I never bought the doubles but man o man we loved our single!!!!!
When DD was born we went out and spent a fortune on one of those cribs on wheels (AKA big heavy strollers..) While on vacation and trying to lug it around I saw a family with a Maclaren and how EASY of a time they were having with it. I had to ask them all about it hahah from that trip on we NEVER used the crib on wheels!

We have the Twin Techno and like it OK. It wasn't my first choice but it was the only one I could handle weight and size wise. I do have a little buyer's remorse and wish I would have considered the BOB with the 12" wheels so I could attach the carseat to the stroller. There is also that new Easy Walker Duo that is so cute and also can also accomodate the carseat.

I bought the Twin Triumph. I have a 3.5 yo and a 6 month old. I bought mine for Disney trips, Trick-or-Treating and that sort of thing, so I did not need the extras for the $100. I guess my answer to your question is it depends on how often you'll use it and what your intentions are.

We have the Ralley Twin which I think is the predecessor to the Twin Triumph. We like it a lot. Works great for our needs. Neither of my kids were infants when we bought it so we didn't need some of the perks of the Techno. Plus, we only use it at Disney and the occassional trip to the mall so I didn't want to throw down the $$ for the Techno.
