Going on 3-day with DS.....very much would like to go to all 3 rotations, but double dipping seems like it could be a good option....

From your experience, considering I have late seating, and absolutely do not want to miss any of the big shows, nor the Pirate Night party, what day and time can you recommend for double dipping at Palo?......

Also, what would influence my decision would be what shows are playing - any word if Herc or Twice Charmed will be on Wonder on 9/1/05 3-day cruise???...if it is a variety, magic, or comedy act, I can easily miss that for Palo....

Thank you....

If you wish to double-dip, you probably will have to sacrifice one of the shows. However, I think double-dipping is your best option. I would've regretted missing a dining rotation on any of the three cruises we've sailed. (It seemed there were always surprises.) :flower:

Try booking Palo for earliest seating available. Also, (haven't sailed a three-day) I think Pirate night (if anything like tropical) still has a party going even after late seating? Someone here who's experienced Pirate night on a three-day could answer better than I could.

what is "double dipping"? :confused3

Wonder 3 day.....June 9-12 2005

It is not wanting to miss out on any night in the dining rooms, but still wanting to try Palo's...So, you could possibly eat at 6:00(if that is your time) in the dining room, but perhaps have just an entree or something small, and then have a ressie for Palo's at 9:00 pm..THis is what we did..

We loved our servers so much, and did not want to miss out on anything, so we had a family meal, and a late night romantic meal..

You could always do these in reverse if you have the late seating :confused3

Are there any matinee shows of the 3 day? We just got off the 7 day and some of the shows had matinee showings. That way you could see and try it all.

They usually only have matinees on the 3-night in special circumstances (like if the weather is bad on CC day or the stores are closed in Nassau...they did that over Easter weekend, but not this weekend even though it was a Bahamian holiday, so you can't count on it).

The shows on the 3 day were Hercules the first night, then Golden Mickeys, and finally Disney Dreams the last night. Pirate night does not include a pirate dinner but did have a great party on deck 9. The party last from about 9:30 to 11:30 followed by a dessert buffet. HTH.

The rumor is that Twice Charmed will be on the Magic only, so you don't need to worry about missing that show.
