Hi Tonya! Let me be the first to say Welcome Aboard!!! When in September were you on the Magic? My DS and his wife were on the Magic Sep 2, 2006 for their honeymoon! Brought back a cruise souvenier who will be born in May

This will be our 2nd Magic cruise, also! My DH and I went Dec 2005 to celebrate our 25th! I won't bore you with our family details - it's on the first page! Anyway, it will be great getting to know you, too!

We went the last few days of Sept first week of Oct. My kids have their fall break the first two weeks of Oct.

Hi all Wanted to stop by and join the club. This will be our second cruise on the Magic. We went last Sept. Only wished we would have booked while on board. I told my DH we would be going back! They never listen do they.

I have the 5th edition Passporter that just came out this year. It does NOT have any Costa Maya info in it. I did find excursions on castawayclub.com though. I know I want to do a Mayan Ruins tour, I just don't know if I want to do it in Cozumel or Costa Maya. I don't know which one is better.

I wonder if the 4th edition would.....meh, I guess I'll just wait for the 6th.

As for SW weekend: I am jealous.
Every year I say we should fly down for it and Mama Force just gives me the "You are Stupid" look.

However, I will say on a sentimental note that 3 years ago, Wee Force ( my DD who was 4 at the time) came downstairs one night and said those six words every loving father wants to hear: "Dad, can we watch Star Wars?"

Woot.

Just got off the Magic last Saturday and already going through withdrawl... We booked onboard for the Sept '08 double dip!!! And THIS time it will be ADULTS ONLY Not that we don't dearly love our kids, but we missed so much since DD1 wasn't allowed to go to any of the later adult shows. We had a GREAT turnout of Disers on this last cruise and some really great meets too. Hope we can do that again!!!

Whew!!! It took a while to get through all 247 posts but I finally made it! Looks like we have quite a crew here!

I can't tell if we are saving money to pay for this year's cruise or saving money to pay off last year's cruise

I want to see the Mayan ruins, but Mama Force and Wee Force might not want to.

Actually that might be good, as I want to go be History Geek, whereas Mama Force will just want to be Tropical Drink Geek.

Called Barns and Nobel yesterday and they had 2 in stock for the DCL Passporter and afew of the Parks ones.

Picked it up today!! Read half of it already. This is great. Most of the stuff we already knew but there was a tip or two I never thought about.

Also we Didn't know you can make only 1 Palo reservation and be on a waiting list for more days.

Pfishgirl -- we cruised last week and there was PLENTY of availability at Palo. We went to dinner Monday night and they asked us if we wanted to come back Tuesday - even said we could bring as many people as we wanted and come at any time. Hopefully Sasha will be there!

It's a bunch of Disney lovers that get together in the PA area each July. Fred Block puts it on and years past it has been in Allentown, PA but this year it is in Harrisburg, PA. http://www.magicmeets.com/index2.html Unfortunately, the event is sold out now (sold out at 500 people). They have Deb Wills from allearsnet and a lot of the Disney podcasters - plus Lou Mongello (Disney trivia extraordinaire) and I think Len Testa of the Unofficial Guide to WDW will be there as well. We've never been before but it was really only a matter of time since I am a huge Disney nerd.

I got our passporter this weekend - I have almost read everything except the ports we won't be visiting! I love looking at the ratings of the excursions!

Welcome Stacy!!! We did our first Disney cruise alone - it was great ! There was lots to do, and plenty of romantic activities available! Let's see, we have another couple of lovebird honeymooners coming, too!

Just spent three days at Disneyland, so I'm on a Mickey high. So cute... my friend was visiting with her six-year-old and almost-two-year-old... the baby calls Mickey Mouse, inexplicably, "Apple". He pronounces it as "Apo", so now everytime I see Mickey I hear baby Jaden's voice in my head, saying "Apo, Apo!!!"
