DD and I have been home with stomach virus today!! We are supposed to leave about 3:30 Thursday, as soon as we pick the kids up from school. We'll drive as far as we can Thursday, then arrive at Residence Inn sometime Friday. Please send us some Disney "Magic" and pixie dust that DH and DS don't get this "bug", and that we are all fully recovered for that long drive!!

So, I called Dis cruise line last night to verify they are still doing the autographed pillowcases. It is just one per child in your cabin. I wanted to do one for 4 other children not cruising with us. I thought they would make really fun souvenier gifts. Anybody out there that would let me use their room number for a pillowcase that is not doing one already? If so, pm me and let me know how we can set it up.

Yeah two years ago (when gas was like $2.xx/gallon) they charged close to $5/gal... pay attention!

Believe it or not, a few years ago when we were there, the cheapest place to fill up was at the Hess on Disney property!

take minty gum, it will hide the alchol smell, since you should have minty breath from all the mouthwash. (altoids work well too.) little trick from my youth.

I got a call from Disney that the pirate encounter in Grand Cayman is cancelled, the boat is in drydock Not sure what we are going to do now

Looked for the poison lotion recommended today by tvxpfox.....couldn't find it. Did get some steriod cream from the doc......Diprolene AF. Hope it does the trick. The girls are feeling better and they better not be coughing at check-in.....

Not a lot of time to read, as I'm exhausted by our newest medical related crisis. It was so frustrating, having to do with the doc prescribing close to $900.00 worth of meds no insurance will cover, and then expecting me to pay for it. Long story, and our pediatrician ended up reading him the riot act. I love her so much.

But barring a horrendous crisis, or severe and unexpected weather, fire, flood, car accident, etc we leave tomorrow at 7:00 AM.

Suitcases are all in the living room. I have two bottles of Cipro, two small bottles of Bactrin, a bottle of potassium citrate solution, Mirolax, and a bunch of OTC stuff to add to the group pharmacy.

Be good, and we can't wait to meet everyone. I'm planning on taking the kids to the meet up at the lounge, but don't know how cooperative they'll be.

Not sure what your excursion was about.....but we are doing the Buccaneer Stingray City Excursion.

We are on a 50' catamaran to the Stingray City Sandbar, the kids and Jen will be in the water with them while I watch...then snorkeling and visiting Coral Gardens and the last part is exploring the Barrier Reef.

Transportation to and from the pier is included in the price. $39 adults, $27 under 10, under 4 yrs. free. 3 hours long.

Just wanted to share my good news!!! I picked my husband up at DFW this am - he flew in from Iraq so we'll see ya'll Saturday!!! 18 days of fun filled R & R ahead for us!

To all of you who are setting up for travel I hope you all have a stress free lmao: ) trip.....sorry about that, I just know what it's like to travel with a 3 year old and a DH who knows EVERYTHING....

Do you know why? I haven't heard about anything on the news?

It's something about the quality of gas required in metro Atlanta because of pollution. I don't really understand it, but I know that I have to watch carefully to see where gas is available right now. I have to get it when I see it. Weird. Never thought I'd see a crisis quite like this.
