Doug, thanks for the MNSSHP ticket news. A guy at work is going 2 weeks after we get back, and he mentioned last week that he received his tickets but they weren't right. Not sure if he's contacted his TA yet, so I forwarded the link to your post to him. Finally, it surely would be a shame for the kids to sit outside the gate as you run around finding candy and gobblins!

Jen, I'm sure you have SO much more to do than read these boards tonight, but when you do get caught up during those late night feedings next week, know you're thought of this evening and certainly tomorrow morning! I'm sure Savannah and Brendan are also going to have "I'm too excited to sleep" dreams tonight. Wishing you and Sarah the best girl!

What is your favourite WDW ride, show or attraction?

Me: Hands down the Teacups. I still LOVE to twirl around 'til I'm laughing so hard I can't breath, and I'm about to pee my pants!

Linda (Mom): She's only been to the World once, and that was about 12 years ago. Other than knowing it's got to be at EPCOT, I'm not certain. However, for now I'll guess she and Heather would be in awe with the vegetable" ride.

If you are going to the MNSSHP on the night before the cruise and you have your tickets, take a close look at them. Two of ours (the child tickets) were printed incorrectly. On the back just below the UPC it says "Valid Spetember 26, 2008 only". But then at the very bottom it says "Vaild 9/19/2008 only". I called the number on the letter that came with the tickets and they explained that some of the tickets were mis-printed but that the UPC is correct and will scan properly on September 26 and get us all into the party. However, if you are not comfortable with haveing tickets that are wrong they will reissue. I think you would have to send the bad ones back. Not sure what we are going to do. counting down here, 130 days until cruise WOOOHOOO!!!!

I picked up some crusie things this weekend to get me in a better mood. I got our dry erase board, some magnetic stripping for decorating our door, plug in to make our cabin smell homey, power strip, over the door shoe organizer, I bit the bullet and spent $7 on it, when we bought one a few years ago at the $$$$ store it broke, I dont want to risk that again

I have also been thinking about clothes, I have PLENTY of shirts. I saw a great idea on one thread, it mentioned going with a color scheme, like having black, khaki and jean pants/skirt/capris and mixing and matching tops, I think I may do this. I am also bring 3 dresses, one for over my bathing suit, if I am brave enough to let all you see me in one, I dont want to scare you away, one for formal night and the other just because its pretty

We just ordered our tickets for MNSSHP. We had so much candy last year, we left 2 bags with our room steward.

MNSSHP-- Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is a party that starts at 4 pm at the Magic Kingdom. everyone gets to trick or treat. A lot of the characters at night are the villians. There is a cool parade with the Headless horsemen. and the BEST fireworks. It is a great time. Tickets are extra. the park is open until midnight. alot of kids/families are dressed for Halloween. We had on Steeler jerseys. This year I want to do tye dye.

I'm surprised you got your tickets! I bought our tickets through DVC for me, Jason, and Hadley's whole family of four and they are holding them at guest relations at the MK and I have to pick them up when we get there. Although we also are not going the night before the cruise. We couldn't get a DVC discount on that night and the reduced price for DVC on Tuesday the 23rd made a significant difference for our party of 6 people...so we opted to go earlier in the week.

Question of the week:
Me - Expediton Everest & Tower of Terror
DH - EE
DD - she can't narrow it down but ToT is probably the favourite with EE, Dinosaur, Space Mountain, RnR Coaster & Kali River Rapids (she likes getting wet) close behind. Actually it's probably easier to say all the thrill rides .
DS - EE
As you can see we all like roller coasters .

We aren't going to MNSSHP even though we will be in Orlando for a few days before. While we don't really celebrate Halloween here I'm sure it'd be a great party, but it's just one expense too many .

Denise: I do that too! Whenever I am board, or in "cruise mode", I go and buy little things for the cruise. I have a huge storage container full of stuff!

And....................to all of you going to MNSSHP, I am jealous. We will be there 2 days post cruise, but we are staying at Ron Jon in Cocao Beach, so it has not been a part of our plan to go................hmmm, maybe I will look into it

Although we also are not going the night before the cruise. We couldn't get a DVC discount on that night and the reduced price for DVC on Tuesday the 23rd made a significant difference for our party of 6 people...so we opted to go earlier in the week.

My DBF and I are going on September 23 also! I'm so excited! We got our tickets (I still need to check them though to make sure the date is right) so we should be set to go. Didn't get the DVC discount, but I'm excited none-the-less!
