Double Digits!

We are 99 days from our trip today!

And the kids still don't know anything about it.

YAY for double digits! How are you planning to surprise your kids? Are you telling them the day you leave or what?

Here's the plan: we have a fake trip planned, that involves visiting various touristy and historic locations mostly in Georgia. But we are going to first drive down to the little town where my DH lived for a couple of years in FL because "he wants to show the kids". We are going to instead take the back way to Disney (I can't remember the roads, but it takes you west of Disney World).

The hope is we might actually get onto the property before they realize what is actually happening. They think we are a couple of years or more away from a Disney trip.

Today is my double digit celebration day and my DD14 has no clue either! I will tell her the night before since we have to be at the airport by six in the morning. Just yesterday she was talking about how it's been almost three years. (It was really only supposed to be two, but the chiropractor took all of my vacation funds in 2012. I'd never enjoy a vacation with a bad back anyway...It was a tough decision. )

Anyway, looks like I'm a little over a week behind you! Can't wait!

29 more days til we are in the Happiest Place on Earth! We are celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday and yes she is unaware!!! So excited.
