We have had a relatively easy winter so far. We have hardly any snow in our yard, on Sunday we had green grass. Which is very funny in the middle of January and in Northern Ontario. It was plus 12 here on Sat. Then it rained most of the day Sunday. Now today on the other hand we are in a snow squall watch in effect with it being -18 with windchill feels like -26. What a change. March 2nd can't come soon enough! Let the countdown begin.

We just had our first ever cancelled flight due to weather! Not snow but high winds in Buffalo prevented Southwest from getting us back from Fort Lauderdale. So our 5 night mini vacation became an 8 night trip, better to be stuck there then here I guess.

I would be thrilled to get "stuck" in FL on our upcoming trip!!!

ETA: i will gladly give up my seat if they overbook the flight home too!! Oh to be so lucky LOL

Me to, I am prepared to do the same thing. If I can get flights back to Florida again, it will make a Christmas trip far more affordable.

You and me both!! Brrrrr we got over a foot of snow from Friday til Sat night, then it changed to rain for a little while, then freezing rain, now just plain cold. -27 with windchill, and had to shovel for over an hour. YUCK. 40 days and we are in Florida.

44 days. It is sooooooo cold here. Minus 25 wind chill today and minus 35 tonight. That Florida sunshine will be worth every penny! I wish I could pull a Rip Van Winkle for the next 44 days.

Ok suitcases are out! Time to start sorting through summer clothes! Who else is getting excited? Snowstorm this weekend.. Can't think of anything better to think about than the upcoming vacation!

Got mine out today too!
Hoping we get a big storm so we have an excuse to stay in and try on outfits! Also planning to make our t-shirts!
We've been sick for a couple of weeks so haven't thought much about it, and now it's just 3 weeks away!
