Double checking a ticket question...

Just to make sure that I understand this correctly. I have 6 day php. On my last day I was thinking about upgrading to a DVC annual pass. Was originally hoping the pass would start the day I upgrade, but that is not the case. Correct? The annual pass will be attached to the first day use of ticket and not the day of upgrade... Going March 8th and was going to upgrade on the 13th... Hoping that I could use next Spring Break as well, but won't be able to if the 8th.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I understand the rule. My oldest son just learned he will be in the college program this summer and fall at Disney. He plans on extending through the spring as well. Was hoping to save a few and get to visit him. Will still go, but just have to regroup and figure it out.
