Double ADR's

Not sure if we are going to Epcot or not. I was wondering if you can make double ADR's. One for inside the park and one outside. Will they let me do this or do I need to do it under two different names/numbers??

I've made double ADR's before back when they were called Priority seating. never got questioned on it. I try to call and cancel the one I'm not going to use as early as possible just to free up the time. If they do ask just use some one elses name in your party.

I just had to deal with this same situation yesterday. I had a travel agent make my ADR's and yesterday I was calling to confirm they were right. After my travel agent made my ADR's, I had her change one from Le Cellier (we were going to eat there twice in one trip, changed our minds) to Coral Reef. Well, when I called yesterday to confirm times and dates I basically got yelled at by a CM because I had 2 for the same time, which I didn't even know that I did. She said that I better cancel one, because when they are looking over ADR lists and they notice it, they will either cancel one of them at their own discretion or cancel both.

Needless to say I was annoyed by this. I understand wanting to make 2 ADR's for the same time, especially if you are on the dining plan and dont want to be in a situation where you have no where to eat when your at Disney and you waste that money. If this is necessay, I would call and make it under someone else's name and number, and if they ask if you are staying on property say NO. Then when it gets closer to the dates of your trip, make sure you call and cancel one of them, just as a courtesy to others.

Make sure you get the right confirmation # too.

Hi-(no flames please) I made a few double ADR last Sept. I haven't made any yet this year, but I might. I too, don't want to me left without a good dining place if our plans change. We have yet to use all the ADR we make-hey it's a vacation, plans change. However, that being said, I have always cancelled the non-used ADR as soon as I knew.

Since I wasn't sure if I could have two ADR for about the same time, last year I did put the extra 2 under my moms maiden name and made a note of it on my planning paperwork including the confirmation numbers. And I did cancel the ADRs when our plans changed.

Thanks for the info! I made ADR this afternoon under my Mom's name and the same phone # and the CM didn't say anything about it being a double! Thanks for the help!!
