Do's and Dont's at RPR - any advice? Poolview vs. Standard View, etc.

Will be there in mid-July - for anyone who has stayed there - is it worth it for the extra $10 per night for a polview? Any restaurants that you would or would NOT recommend? How was the boat service to the resort? Can you take the boat to other resorts or just to the parks? Any other tips? Are there towels at the pool or should we bring our own?

Boats run from Citywalk back to the resort. They don't run from resort to resort. You can get towels by the pool.

Barry is right about the boats but it is easy to get between resorts, either by changing boats at city walk or taking a shuttle bus from the front entrance. This works fine for dinner out at another resort.
