Dorky Disney Cruisers, 11/22-26/06,Anyone else with us???

I wish I knew!!! Being a "guaranteed" room means they wait for a while to give me the number. I do not know if that is a good or a bad thing, but it is a wait. There are three rooms our family has, all on deck 8, that is all I know.

Yeah...when the inlaws are fitting the bill and I get to plan, you better believe we are doing it up!!! Plus all the onboard charges are to them...couples massages, lots of drinks, the works...

This thread is really long but contains allot of pictures of really creative door signs. I found some templates I liked and worked with them to personalize it to my family.

My wife told me we did not leave for another month and I was not allowed to talk to her about the trip until the day before so I could tell her what to pack. I have not told her about all I have been talking about here!!! I cannot imagine what she will say if I tell her I am going to design the door or make the shirts...she will think I am looney!!!!

My situation exactly!!!

Oh well, I thinks it's a blast to do what we're doing.

Assuming we have an idea of what we want, then I need sizes for everyone, and then that is it. Not too bad. I will bring them with me and hand them out at the meet...or can I send them to the ship in advance and have them put them in your rooms? Then we can all wear them at the meet?

we're not getting very much input regarding the design. You, me and Brandon have suggested things, I'm ok with any of them. Your suggestion to keep the size of the embroidery small was a good one, so I'm good to proceed with your last approach. How many were you thinking about making? One for each party or were you going to do more?

good question about shipping to the ship. I have read conflicting things on the boards regarding that subject so I sent DCL an email about it.

I just received an email from DCL. you can ship the shirts to the terminal and they will be delivered to your room the morning of the sailing......

That was my thought. I am not going to be that dorky as to say everyone should wear them at the same time, but I thought it might be a fun souvenir.

Once it is set up...the cost per shirt to me is very small!!! I get tons of t-shirts all the time...and we have A LOT just sitting around the warehouse of my office waiting for a good use.

BTW- there is nothing dorky about us all wearing them at the same time...the other cruisers will be jealous of our awesome shirts and wonder how they can be as cool as us!!!
