Dora Shirts for goodie bags

Okay, for my daughter's third B-day party, I plan to make shirts for the kid's to take home instead of buying the "loot bags" from the place hosting the party. My idea was to do a Dora and Diego shirt. I bought PhotoImpact to create something, but I really haven't had the time. I found this photo online and plan to just put a splashy border around the edges.

What do you guys think? Is it cheesy? Any better suggestions?

Before I bought PhotoImpact, I made this in Paint but it is very basic and novice.

So, what would you use? Or would you scrap both and design something totally new? If so, do anyone just love doing this and have an extreme desire to design something totally new????????? - because the party is next Sunday and with a toddler who won't leave me alone to design this shirt, I just don't have the time.

Anyway, thanks for ideas and criticism.

I think that your design that you did in Paint is great! You could put a border around that or leave it the way that it is.

I like the top design, too, but will it enlarge cleanly enough for the shirts? I don't know how big the original is.

Well, to be fair, neither are a design. They are both just pictures that I found on the internet. The bottom one, I altered a bit. I was just looking at some other designs that some of you have created and am becoming inspired to stay up later than my daughter tonight so that I can create something wonderful for her and her friends. Wish me lots of luck since I will surely need it!
