Dora Roller Skates? Can they be "Un-Dora-ed?

My dd5 has asked for roller skates from santa. She wants pink adjustable, four wheel roller skates. We looked at few at Target today and they had pair with Dora on them. I said, "Oh, is this what you want from Santa" and she said, "Yes, but not with Dora on them...that's for babies?" Ok.....but none of the other adjustable skates were pink.

How hard would it be to remove Dora's picture from plastic skates? It is just printed on the plastic? Would nail polish remover take her little face off?

Not sure about removing but how about covering Dora. Maybe with some nice flower or other 'grown up' stickers or rub on transfers??? I would think that if Dora is a sticker heat would take it off but if it is a screen print you may damage the underpaint scraping or using a chemical to get it off. Maybe then use something to cover the spot??

Not sure if it would make a difference, and this doesn't answer your question but I am pretty sure I have seen adjustable pink ones with Barbie on them. As for the Dora- wonder if you could just paint over them?

I would just spray paint over Dora.

They had pink Barbie ones at Toys R Us this weekend when I was at our local one. You could try there, online, or like others have suggested....just paint or sticker over Dora.
