My wife receives (or sometimes receives) child support from her ex, through DOR. She's supposed to get the payment every week. This arrangement was set to go through DOR about 5 months ago, and it's still all screwey. She hasn't received a CS payment now in over 2 weeks. They're constantly behind.
I don't get it. Luckily, she's not desperate for the money, but what about parents that are? Alot of single parents depend on that child support. My wife can't be the only one that DOR sends the money out to whenever they feel like it. To talk to them is useless.
What if a parent needed the money for food or clothes for their child? God, it makes me so angry. God help the poor soul who pays any of his tax bills a day late, but when it comes to the government giving the taxpayer money they are owed - Forget it.
