Doorway to Dreams event....the scoop! BLT teaser!

I would also like to know how you got invited to this. We bought from Doorway to Dreams at the beginning of the year and haven't heard from them since we signed the papers.

We don't live far from Chi town, anyone know how to get on the list for the special events?

I would say give them a call. My guess it if you bought your DVC from them then they automatically get mailed an invite but I am not sure. i am a brand new DVC member and mine was handed to me when I bought.

No Fair!!!! We didn't get anything about this either! (and I was at Woodfield that afternoon buying DD's birthday gift!). We have received invites to the opening (where we added on), and the event they had in February. (and I haven't been checking on this board for a few days, that will teach me!).

I guess the only consolation I have is we were on the Wonder a couple of weeks ago, and went to the member meeting there, so we heard most of what they covered at this event. They "teased" about BLT ("anyone know what's new at the Contemporary?" asked the CM "You won't tell us" came the reply from someone in the crowd" "The new restaurant Wave, that's all I'm saying".....)

I knew I should have walked over to Doorway....I usually do if DH is with me, but this was a quick run in/run out. Oh well......

Anyone else get this? I saw this on a DVC owners site and thought I'd share since it wasn't just for DVC Members. Just starting my Disney online life and wanted to share.

The friendly folks at Disney's Doorway to Dreams (located at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL) have informed us that DVC will be holding a One Year Anniversary Event/Celebration at Disney's Doorway to Dreams from August 1st - 3rd, 2008. Disney characters will be in attendance to increase the fun factor, and Disney also will be giving away a Disney vacation at each of the events! It promises to be phenomenal!

Separate meetings are being held for Members and non-Members.
