Door decorations: gel-type window clings?

Hi - i just read your post about the gel cling that left a stain on your fridge. We just put some up about 2 weeks ago and noticed that they have stained my BRAND NEW white fridge pink (the clings were intense red). I tried fantastick and majic eraser but it isn't fading even a little. Did you ever get the stain off and how? PLEASE HELP ME! LOL

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. No, I never got the color off my fridge, but luckily it was really old and we ended up replacing it when the ice maker broke. Try calling the fridge company and seeing if they have any ideas. Good luck.

Those things should be banned. My son had some on his window in his bedroom and took them off and put one on his wood dresser. The only way the stain will come off is if the top of the dresser is refinished. Can't imagine how much stuff these awful things have damaged.
