Door decorations for birthday

I'm not the most creative person in the world, so I need help from you guys.

My DD will turn 9 on the day we check into POR. Any ideas for room and door decorations?

Happy Birthday to your daughter!!! I love decorating the room for any reason... POR has some nice windows that you can decorate w/ those Gel Cling on's... I have found them all over from the dollar store/ target & craft stores... You can also decorate the mirror in the room w/ these as well... If you have time, visit your local Home Depot and get those mickey paint chips, they come in handy for decorating too! Dont forget to call the resort and let them know that your daughter will be celebrating her Bday... My DH called ahead of time and when we arrived there was balloons and a card signed by Minnie... It was very cute!

You can also buy birthday confetti and sprinkle it all over the table! You can buy a birthday tiarra from Party city and have it on the table for her to wear around...

When we were there for my son's b'day, I had bought a banner on e-bay - about 4' wide - with Mickey and gang on each end and Happy Birthday ... in the center.

It fit fine in the window at CBR.

Also, in the room I hung a Mickey Mouse Happy Birthday banner type decoration - I believe I got it at Party City - the type that has each letter on a separate circle - all attached to a plastic string going across.

Be sure to let the front desk know it's her b'day. My son got balloons and a card from the resort, and he got a Magical Moments certificate from CRO.

I put large magnets on our door at Pop last summer. Volleyball, soccer ball and hockey puck. I have seen happy birthday set on line also.

There are some creative people over on the Creative DISigns board that can make custom signs. You pick the character, saying, etc. I had a couple made that I plan on hanging on our door. I even printed one on transferrable paper to make my daughter a t-shirt.

Edit: to add example of a sign that I had made from the creative DISign board. I am putting this on a t-shirt for my daughter. They have alot of examples of birthday ones as well. Hopefully it works and sorry if it's too big. I am new at posting pictures!

i made magnets at home

you can get the magnets at walmart...print out what you want & you can cut them & just slap em on the door...i even made (on paper) a place to wish us happy anniversary, so you could do that for her bday!!!
