Do people decorate their resort room doors? I know many peole do on disney cruises.

Depends on the resort level actually. I’ve seen it at values but never at a Deluxe or CSR Tower. Idk about mods and CSR normal rooms.

We've done several family trips with smaller kids, and have had a service come in to decorate at BC, AKL, and OKW - the kids absolutely loved it. It's a special touch. And most trips we will see doors done up for special occasions at those same resorts - birthdays, anniversaries, first trips. A fun touch.

I think I remember reading that DVC resorts have rules against decorating doors and balconies. Basically, anything on the inside of your room is okay but nothing on the outside.

That being said, I have seen strings of lights on balconies and some door decorations at DVC resorts.

most people don't but at the All Stars a lot of people decorate in the windows. the window sill is about 6 inches wide.

We checked and decorating the outside of the DVC room doors with stickers/decals (not lights) isn't a problem. We've done that many times.

I'm shocked stickers are allowed. The adhesive would damage the paint.

We usually stay at either Pop or AoA and while we see the occasional door decorated, it's mostly the windows that get decked out. People put up lights, decals, banners, etc. It's one of my husband's favorite things about going. He loves seeing what people set up. Last time we went, a room a few doors down from us had a trio of barbies that were set up on the windowsill each day in different outfits and at night, when we'd come back from the parks, they were tucked in under covers or in pjs.

Agreed. I could understand magnets being okay (to a degree) but not anything with an adhesive that could damage the paint.

But I checked the POS for BWV and could not find anything specifically prohibiting door decorations. There are a lot of specific don'ts such as moving furniture in, placing plants on the balconies, hanging pictures, etc. But nothing specifically addresses stickers/decals on the doors.

I’ve been debating decorating for Christmas and my daughter’s birthday later this month at BLT. Good to know it’s okay to do.
