Oh, I like the idea of the crossbody strap!! Where did you get it?

I got a brown one and a black one. I use the brown one on my messenger and my mini pink faces of Minnie. I found the messenger strap with those big hooks to attach it, too heavy for me. I bought them on ebay, by searching for leather straps for dooney and bourke. I hope that helps. They are very durable but not as fancy with stictching as you would get on your dooney purses.
Also, on the black comic I put the strap on the purse inside and zip it up to the point of the strap so it doesn't hang down

My replacement Minnie Bow bag should be waiting for me at the Post Office today, but I still haven't gotten the return tag for the damaged one. I wonder if they could have put it in the box with the new one? If not I'll have to call them this afternoon. I don't want to get charged for a second bag.

How many days has it been since you called? They told me it could take up to 7 business days. I was also worried about being charged for another bag.

It's been more than a week since I called. The replacement bag shipped on the 23rd. I didn't have a chance to call again yesterday.

I'd call just to be sure, but they may have gotten behind due to the holidays. I still can't figure out why it takes so long to e-mail a label. Good luck! Did you pick up your new bag yet?

Does anyone know if the Princess bags are sold out in parks too? I didn't snag one when they were available online and I don't really want to get one off eBay. We're going in three weeks and I'd love to get one but didn't know if they were already gone. Thanks!

I also wanted to share pictures of my new Dooney that my mother gave me for Christmas. Since we're sailing on the Dream from the first part of our honeymoon she thought it was appropriate. It was a real suprise!

Great Disney Dream bag! I love that print. And the ship - you'll have a great time on your cruise! As far as the princess print, I don't think it's available at the parks any more. I didn't see any of the styles during our trip last fall. They were being sold (a few anyway) at the Dooney outlet.

I received the Disney Dream crossbody bag for Christmas. Today, I noticed that the left front corner on the bottom of the bag is scratched and almost frayed looking. I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with something similar and if so, how did you solve the problem? I checked the Dooney website to see if the leather could be treated to avoid further damage and from what I understood, they were advising against treating the leather. If anyone here has treated their Dooney bag(s) successfully, what leather conditioner/treatment did you use? I'm sorry if this is rambling and confusing. Any and all help would be appreciated!

Hi, I have treated my leather on the Dooney bags. I treat the natural leather as soon as I get the bag because it prevents the spotting from water on the natural leather. My son loves working with leather and has done much leather work and he is the one that treats them. He uses good old fashioned saddle soap. Even ones I had that were not treated and had water spots on them, after he treated them they no longer had the spots and the leather looked great. Just follow the directions on the package or google treating leather. I hope you are able to solve this and enjoy the purse. There is nothing so disheartening than to have a problem with one of these great pursesKeep us posted.

Hi there! Yes you are correct that the Princess print is at the Dooney outlet. I have first hand experience as I purchased the Princess Bucket bag at the I-Drive Premium outlet on Dec 16!!

Even better, the Dooney outlet had a 50% off sale that day, as they sometimes do on weekends. If you do visit the outlets, try for a weekend as I find the sales are usually on then.

I wanted to mention that I find that the I-Drive Dooney outlet has a better selection than the Vineland Dooney outlet in my experience.

On Dec 16, the I-Drive outlet had the White Princess Bucket bag, the Black Princess Domed Satchel, the Brown Mickey Silhouette Champsac, and 1 or 2 other designs/lines - sorry I forget! Maybe Mickey colourful silhouette or original white Cindy Sketch? (Please correct me if you know).

At the Vineland outlet, a couple days before, they only had 1 Disney bag - the Black Princess Domed Satchel.

Hope that someone else is able to find a bag at the outlets that they can't find in the parks and has good luck like myself!

I got it because it was super cute and I really wanted to pick out a placement in case I had to resort to disneyshopping for the satchel. It all worked out! I got one for my sister that had two princess minnie's on the front. I liked the angry minnie yelling at mickey, so I kept this one.
