You aren't the person I spoke to at the deli counter at the Kroger on Watson a few months ago, are you???? I spoke with a couple while waiting for my lunchmeat, lol. The lady had complimented me on my sketch Cindy, but to the best of my knowledge, had no Disney D&Bs herself.

This is the very first time I've ever been in contact with on a message board in my town--it's so surreal!

Alas, I have no wonder pattern. For some reason, it never grew on me ...

Yikes, I just wrote you a long message and then discovered that since I had to re-register (it's been so long since I posted that I couldn't remember the right combination of username, password, and the email address that I used . . . sad, I know; but, I have only had time to read on my lunch hour and you don't need to login to do that!) I think they would make a killing on a christmas pattern. And if they made ones that were different for WDW and DL and open it up to online orders through Disney, they may even make double. I know I would want one of each.

See that is why I don't get. Im sure I am not the only person out there who likes both WDW and DLR. I would buy so much more if they had different patterns. Disney could make much more money with different patterns.

I am often surprised, that the huge conglomerate that Disney is, certainly is not reflected in the merchandising area. They often miss the boat on giving the customer what they truly want or need, (even if they didn't know they needed it yet).

I would think, with the success of the Disney Dooney line, they would try to "cater" to the wealth of possible patterns and themes possible. A holiday bag, four parks bag, Tink bag, princess bag, NMBC bag, bad guy bag, is only a start. I do wish, however that bags such as the DL55 were limited editions. It would keep them fresh and a little more "unique."

Wonder when there will be a Hong Kong or European pattern? Maybe a Disney around the world pattern?

Oh, I would totally buy all the styles of Tink D&Bs if they made them! I'm stoked that I will soon have in my grasp three D&Bs. Funny thing, this time last year I did not possess a single handbag that cost over $50. First +$50 bag I bought was an original sketch Cindy tote, second was a Coach (boo to be non-Disney, but it is a nice bag), third was a brown tonal letter carrier, and now the 55th messenger (shout out to hawky: thanks! I tried to PM you, but your box is full). Dh is going to think he created a monster for encouraging me (yes, he actually encouraged me!) to by that original sketch tote!

Anyway ... Tink1975, where abouts in Georgia are you? I have yet to see anyone else sporting a Disney bag, so it must not be around the mid-section ...

I sent you both bags and knew you were neighbors! Hehehehe!! I told Tink1975 last night and was going to msg you this morning, but totally spaced it! AND you are both getting messengers! You guys should go out to lunch with your bags!!!

I too was expensive bag free this time last year (well I do have a stone mountain that I've had for about 13 years I think I paid a little over $100 for that one). I always saw Dooney, LV, and Coach bags that I liked but never enough to spend the money, I have had a couple of XOXO bags but always got those off ebay or something like that for super cheap. These disney bags have me hooked and I just absolutely love them all. Good thing is I know they will last and are guaranteed to do so. That makes me feel better about my purchases.

I wish I could say I was expensive bag free too, but I got bit by the luxury bags early on. I got a job at Nordstrom when I was 18...bad bad idea. When I purchased my first Kate Spade like 2 months into it, I knew I was doomed. But then the problem goes into you wanting the newest and latest and greatest... But I justify my bag addiction because I'm not like most women, I could care less about shoes, give me flip flops and I'll be fine. I never go out to eat, I don't drink coffee, or smoke, so all those things add up, so that is how I justify my bag addiction. And we don't have kids, so that really helps my bag fund. Do you like that I STILL have to justify it to myself. My husband is no help at all...he's like yeah sure buy whatever you want. I'm like no no no, you're suppose to say no! It's a blessing and a curse!! HAHAHA

Hawky7, I'm the woman who was behind you in line, remember? We were in the store together, I think you were shopping the totes or messengers when the guy brought out more letter carriers. There were no more than 4 or 6 LC on display when we went in...I chose the best of those, then as the CM brought more my daughter and I compared and replaced our choice maybe two times, then cashed out and left. I think we were in and out of that place in under three minutes .

Oh geez thanks alot for taking the best one! HAHAHA JUST KIDDING! I was seriously in the store for like 45 mins to an hour...they restocked like 6-7 times while I was there. Then I went back that night to get more, and they were "kinda" slow (in comparision to earlier in the day) so I had her grab some from the back, but still didn't ever see one that good! Wait didn't I hassle you for that one, and went ohhhh I want that one, let me have it, or was that to someone else. I totally hassled someone, but they didn't give it up! HAHA

SUNNIERN- I didn't see your posting when I wrote this... so I'm putting it up in here, editing it, so I don't have like a hundred postings right after one another...
You are so very welcome, you are going to be soooo excited when you see the ears!!! I do truly think the 55th bags will be limited edition... I don't know that, but I just have a feeling they will be. Oh yes, a 4 parks bag would be really cool with all the features and logos from all the parks. Good idea! We do really need to email Disney Dooney people and say listen, these are what we want, now create them and we will sell them!!! HAHHA

To everyone who loves NMBC...here is a pic of me and the hubby last year at MNSSHP. Yes we will be going again this year, in the same costumes!!! It was so fun, it's like being a disney celebrity!!! Jack is HUGE on the west coast, not quite as much on the east, so people were freaking out. We had a blast!!!

I know right?!?! It was after the regular guests had to leave, but not everyone for MNSSHP had shown up yet. I love it! Darn those couple people in the back, otherwise it would be perfect!! You all must go if you have never been, I assure you , it is the BEST thing EVER!!!

Hi, probably was not me. My husband does the grocery shopping He is leaving August 16th until the end of February so I get to do the shopping I will be lost in the store! He actually likes to go grocery shopping

hawky7, great photo. That is amazing to get the castle with really no one else in it. If you enjoy halloween and costumes, you should go to Tokyo Disneyland one year for their halloween event. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. They really go all out. I was there in 2008 and it was amazing.

SunnieRN, I too wish they do more limited editions. Like the art work. I would love to see a Disney Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo bag. I would think it would go over very well in Tokyo and they could put a Duffy Bear on it. Now that would sell. We thought the line on Sat for Dooneys as long. Guest in Tokyo will wait 8 hours to get into a store selling the new Duffy items. I am amazed at the dedications. Not sure I would wait 8 hours even though the items are so cute.

Sorry to hear about your hubby leaving, and for so long. If I happen to see someone with the black wonder tassel, I'll say hi. Maybe we can compare bags, tee hee. I'd say I'll start wearing my LGMH, but then people would think I'm more nuts than usual.

Wow! It is a small world I have been to Fort Valley a few times. We go to Atlanta quite a bit to the Mall of Georgia-for shopping!!!

My mom lives in Byron which is a little closer to Fort Valley. Were originally from Michigan and have been here in Georgia for about 12 years. Hoping to move to Florida next year.
