Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

I love my first edition tassle tote, and have had soooo many comments from admirers However I'm an empty nester......if you find yourself toting stuff for your seven year old, I'd go with the medium tote because I only have room for 'my' stuff in my tassle tote and I'm NOT sharing!!

Luckily I am not typically filling my purse with toys anymore. LOL Occassionally sunglasses for the 7 year old, but nothing more than that. I typically carry a large wallet, my cell phone, my iTouch, sample size makeup, and sample size lotion. I like a little extra room in my purse, but I'm not a 'big purse' type of girl.

Ok, who here already bought the disney cruise line dooneys on Ebay?? I keep checking the auctions and convincing myself NOT TO BID!! Not sure how long before I give in..

i am in the same boat!(lol, unintended pun!!) i really would rather get a tote than the wristlet, but wish they were not going so high! the pattern placement is tough on the wristlets. is it confirmed that this is only from the mediterranean portion of the cruise??? so confusing! do we need to pool our resources, send one member of the dis to take the cruise and get us all dooneys??????????????????????

I was telling DD15 about the DCL purses and after several minutes of discussing, I asked her if I went on the cruise and bought a "ton" of purses and then sold them for say $50 over my cost if I could make enough money to pay for my cruise. You would have to know my daughter and our relationship, but suffice it to say I was amused when she replied she knew it was only a matter of time before I came up with that idea. So anyway, I'm volunteering for the job! SEND ME ON A CRUISE!!!

You know what would be fun? If the 2nd edition sketch print came on other stuff like bathrobes, pajamas, sheets, kitchen towels, pot holders and aprons, stuff like that.

I was telling DD15 about the DCL purses and after several minutes of discussing, I asked her if I went on the cruise and bought a "ton" of purses and then sold them for say $50 over my cost if I could make enough money to pay for my cruise. Me too....I had a dis'er be so kind as to volunteer to get me one next month on her cruise. I am going for the Cindy tote....this pattern is very busy and I think it would be too hard to have someone dig through all the wristlets to find the one with perfect placement.

ME TOO! I'm not crazy about any of the wristlets though. The design gets lost because it is so small. I am hoping for the cindy tote or the tassel.

i have the champsac in the regular dooney leather, not the fabric disney version. i like it , but it is really quite bulky. i actually wore it to the grocery store one day and knocked something (a bottle of juice) over by accident because it stuck out so much!!!!!!!! i have not carried it since. in fairness, it was somewhat close quarters where it happened but still, the bag is somewhat large! on the bright side, i did get a compliment about the bag later that day maybe the fabric version would be less bulky? hope this helps!

I am sure as long as they are a "hit"...and we all know there are enough addicts on here....they will keep coming out with new designs. So, if that specific one isn't still around, there will most likely be another one of some sort ! Disney knows how to make money !

oooh! I told you I was obsessed! My medium 1st edition sketch tote is on it's way soon! I found one on ebay that had the exact placement that I wanted!

Now I can keep the Disney magic alive in between trips to the World!

I am at Disneyland this week. Thought I'd let you know that they have all the Dooney's from second edition Sketch on (not the new cruise style....darn).

I purchased a tassel sketch for a friend with really, really good placment. And I bought a wristlet in the sketch for myself. I was going to get one of the black magic (barrel) just didn't do it for me. Think I will wait and see what they come out with next.

They are selling them at Disney Store in DTD, and Valt 38. They also have them in Fronter Land, Main street at Fl........something. So those on the west coast you have great places for find them.

Heading downstairs to check out Uma for a drink at the Grand.
