Has anyone seen anything to do with the Doodlebops at Disney? They are my DD's latest obsession (her imaginary friend is Moe). So anything Doodlebop related would be great. Thanks!

Nothing pertaining to the Doodlebops when we were there in July. I also have a doodlebops obsessed ds. At least the Wiggles were "normal" I can't believe how crazy he is for these Doodlebops!

Lions and tigers and bears OH MY!!! :earseek:

I think my DD only likes them because they annoy me. :)

I haven't heard anything about them showing up in the parks, but they'd be most likely to appear at DS, right?-- I'd imagine you'll be able to find merchandise, eventually, at least.

My 10 month old loves them---she watches them every day on the Disney Channel.

I looked at the credits today after the show ended, and it said nothing about Disney. It is filmed in Canada. :confused3

They scare me. My favorite character is the bus driver, Bob.

Yes, it's filmed in Canada and was picked up just recently by Disney. In fact, I think I heard they just got done filming a few more episodes in Canada. I was just hoping that, like the Wiggles who aren't Disney, that there ould at least be some merchandise somewhere.

OK I am sooo glad I am not the only one who hates them! I think they are freaky!!! My kids also love them and I have actually gone as far as lying and changing the channel real quick and saying sorry, they're over!!
Mother of the year award...down the drain!!! LOL :rotfl:

:rotfl: I have pulled the cord from the wall and bum-rushed the kids out the door to get these folks off the TV! Maybe it's a sinister way to promote more exercise because we always go to the park when it's Doodlebop time! :rotfl:

I'm glad to know this show wasn't created in the USA. We can't bear the blame for this threat to society!

I am glad to find this thread!!!! I thought my kid was the only one!! :) He sings and dances the doodlebops sometimes when the show is not even on!!!! He also calls himself "Aydan Doodle" when the show is on. :rotfl2:

Me too! I watch my DGD during the day, and she loves the show. The make me nuts, and I hate to look at them. The lipstick is creepy.

At least they are people, my DD was that age during Teletubbies! Talk about annoying! :rotfl2:

I LOVE the doodlebops. They are awesome! It looks like i don't agree with you guys, but hey thats your guys opinon. :thumbsup2

I have to say my kids love them. I like them better than teletubbies and thanks good my kid doesn't watch that show. Although we do have a ****ah. How dumb was I. Anyway the doodleboops were only there during free dining along with the wiggles and other playhouse disney members during free dining to promote the new mickey mouse clubhouse and for preschoolers packages in aug and sept. I don't remember seeing any merchandise. Hope this helps. I have however seen that ticketmaster has scheduled shows in select cities. My daughter can't wait we saw the wiggles in New Orleans a few years ago and when he came in to the balcony where we were sitting she got to shake his had.

the word with **** is Boohbah w/ out the first h

Just in case any Doodlebop fans were unaware, there are a few activities on the CBC kids (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) website. This is the television station they are on in Canada. You might have to look at the site map to find the Doodlbop specific stuff, I think there are some in printables and possibly play. :)

what happened to the deedee that is in your pic lately on the show it has a newer slimmer deedee with a more fitted costume on.

It's definitely the same Deedee just a different outfit and possibly thinner in real life. We saw The Doodlebops Live show about a month ago and the face, voice, etc. were definitely the same - same actress.

BTW - I thought the show was overpriced (at least at our venue). It was really short compared to other shows we've attended.
