than you?

My brother just informed me that he may be heading to WDW for a few days in June. There are 6 in his family. He said they may stay at the CB...I told him that he would need 2 rooms.

He said "thye have suites"...
I said"no they don't"
He said "yes, they do...I saw them online"
I said "no they don't..but CR does"
He said "what resorts are near Ecpot"
I said "BC, YC and BW"
He said "no on the other side...CB, right?"
I said "yes, but they don't have suites"
He said "I saw them online"

Then he had to go.

Either he knows some earth shattering news that I am unaware of or he is going to have one hell of a time booking that suite! :lmao:

Please tell me if some news had broken that I am unaware of!

Kim

Maybe he's thinking of the new suites at ASMu. Not that that sounds anything like CB LOL

nope....I left that part out but I did ask him if he may be thinking of the new suites that are opening there....that is when he asked about the Epcot area etc!

Well, you know if he SAW them on line..then he must be right and you are wrong! Why would you know more than he does? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Not mention this is my job! I was going to ask him if he would like me to put together a bid for a steele building...as he owns a construction company...figured if he knows more about my job than I do, then I must know more about construction than I thought! :rotfl2:

Family...gotta luv em!

I'm thinking he has his brain wrapped around the value suites, but don't know where he got the idea that any of them are near epcot :rolleyes2

I had a convo wih my brother about WDW recently. He said
"Boy,weren't you bummed when you saww how small the castle was?

Huh?

"Nothing there, just the castle no nothing"

You know there's a restaurant in there? "a restaurant?"
Yes, a restaurant

"There's no restaurant in there" And then he gave a me a look like I'm insane

My DH will do this to me in regard to medical or nursing things that we discuss. I have been a nurse for 23 years, and he will tell me I am wrong about something, which he knows little or nothing about.

When that happens, I just tell him that now we are going to discuss mortgage rates (he's in real estate) and make up some bogus thing and then just keep insisting I am right.

Annoys the daylights out of him! ;)

DH's grandmother kept telling me the castle was only a few inches high?!?! This is before I had gone to WDW, so she was telling me what to do and see there. I have no idea why she thinks the castle is mini!

Does he have a brother named Anthony or Billy? My dh as well as my db are notorious for knowing more than even the experts! BTW...my dh is a nurse as well!

Yeah, I had this guy tell me he could do ALL of Disney in 1/2 a day w/time to spare! My buddy that was there with me just looked at me and had to lift his chin back up because he knew what was going to happen....me being an absolute disney fanatic!! I started asking him details... what parks did you go to? He said "there is only one Disney World" He's right about that...but there are several parks within Disney World... I named them all off, what they were about...what rides and attractions at each...he grabbed his phone and said he had to make a call!! Oh please! Don't make a comment about something you know NOTHING about!!! It was hilarious...he was literally 3 x's my size...I'm 5'3"...125lb w/an irish temper I guess...he was at least 6'2"... :lmao: it was great...

I have a blind wife who tried to back seat drive until I asked her how many times she had operated a vehicle. :teeth:

(Don't worry - she got me back later when I made a guide dog instruction suggestion ::yes:: )

Then again, one of her first jobs was teaching a driver's permit class. She had the rules of the road in Braille  so she really does know more about it than I do.

But back to WDW misconceptions.....

My neighbors took their kids to WDW when their youngest was a baby, which would have made it about 1996. (Before Fast Pass.) They insist that because they had a baby with them, they got to go to the front of every line and stay on every ride as many times as they wanted. They tell other people with babies that they should go to WDW because of this! All I can think of is that they went at a very slow time of the year when everything was walk on and that they used baby swap.

Could he have confused CBR with CSR? CSR does have some suites. I know. I saw this online. ;)

That's what I was thinking.

Or maybe confusing CB with BC - I've met people who do that.

Nope....I asked him if he might have been looking at Coronado Springs. Nope....Caribbean Beach. The only thing I can think of is..if he entered his info, maybe the system automatically put him in a suite due to his request? He may not have noticed that it switched him to another resort??? The fact still remains that I told him there no suites at CB...he should have believed me. :teeth: I happen to know a bit about WDW! :rotfl2:

A friend of mine kept insisting there was a rollercoaster inside the golf ball at Epcot. Told her it was a "slow-moving vehicle" and all about the ride, but Nooooo. She knew what she was talking about, had read all about it and seen clips on a video. So, I let it go.

Then she got back and said, "You were right."

As if I ever doubted it!

Oh, this is my mother in law!!! But then again, my mother in law knows everything so I am not surprised at anything anymore.

One thing that comes to mind is today she told me that the Italian Restaurant in MGM Studios is called Mama Mia's. When I told her it was Mama Melrose she looked at me like I was the idiot. :rotfl:

She also insisted that she did not need ADR's for any dining plans when she and FIL went to WDW for a few days last August during the FREE DINING PLAN promotion. This one really made me :rotfl2: . Naturally when they got there she was SHOCKED that Le Cellier and similar restaurants were all booked up. I just love these episodes of hers. They entertain me.
