We will be at the Ft. from May 20th-25th. With that being said, we have an ADR at Tusker House for 8:45 am on the 21st. What time will the busses begin running from the Ft. to AK? We won't have a car, as we are only bringing the motorhome and the golf cart on the small utility trailer. Would we be better off catching a bus or doing uber xl? My mom will be using her electric scooter so we will need to take that to the park each day with us on the Disney Busses or on other transportation. So I am wondering what is the best way to to get to AK for our breakfast adr at 8:45 am on the 21st?

Generally buses to theme parks begin about 45 minutes prior to park opening at all the resorts. On that morning, according to the website, AK opens at 0900. Extra magic hours that day are at HS.

So the bus will begin sometime around 0800.

I think the buses run earlier than 45 minutes before opening. We've headed out around 7 to catch a bus to get to breakfast at epcot by 8 am. I believe it's sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 that the buses start.

ETA: I know the Disney website lists the 45 minutes before opening as when the buses start but that's not the reality at any resort.

Yes, the Disney website says 45 minutes. It can start anywhere from 60-90 minutes prior to park opening. No guarantees on the time, BUT at least 45 minutes prior to the opening.

My advice, since AK opens at 0900 that morning you should probably get to the bus stop and be waiting by 0730-0745.

0630!? On a park not opening until 0900? Wow, never seen or heard of that one before. If that is the case then the OP for sure has no problem.

was just down there and the busses started to run at 6:30/6:45 I think all hotels so I am not sure if the camp site are the same.

Yes it is the same for the campground. Was just there in November and we were the first cart in the parking lot at 7:15 am. Buses were rolling for epcot, ak, and DHS. I think disney springs buses start later. We've done many pre park opening breakfasts at parks as early as 8 am when the park opens at 9 and have always taken the bus. This includes stays at the fort.

There ya go, shouldn't be a problem for the OP then.

I forgot I had a picture. Dis rule right? Pictures or it didn't happen. :)

Yep, it's a rule. Good job on that. Is that your lone cart in the parking area?
Yes. We are early birds at Disney but not in real life. Lol. The kids even wanted to go to 7 am emh that week which shocked me.

Not my bunch. They like to sleep in and stay late. Works for me cause I can get up and enjoy the early morning peace and take pics.

@Hockeytchr , hope we were able to help you out.

Thanks for all the replies, and yes they have been helpful. We have almost everything ready for our trip in May. Campsite reserved, park passes bought and magic bands on the way, adrs made for Tusker House Breakfast (My Choice), Liberty Tree Tavern for MK dinner (Mom's choice), and a dinner reservation at one of the Italian places at Epcot (DH's choice and I don't remember which one). Just need to get magic bands and fastpasses figured out and done, and get a scooter reserved for mom from one of the outside vendors. She reserved one from one of them the last time she came with us back in 2012. We stayed off property then and drop off at that resort was easy, I hope it will be just as easy to get one dropped off at the Ft. as well. Saved her over $100 bucks to rent from an outside vendor. So I welcome any suggestions on outside scooter rentals if anyone has any. We are excited and so are our the fur babies...it's their first time at the Ft. too. The older two did get to ride through the property when we were there the last time in 2013, but we stayed off property then too. We let the older two fur babies have a day at the Best Friends Pet Care as we did a "marathon day" at MK...with a dear friend who wanted to do that.....the rest of that trip was spent doing Universal Parks. This time we will leave the babies in the RV as we plan to take a break from each park in the early afternoon each day to rest, walk the pups, and have a light lunch at the RV. DH keeps joking with me that we should bring more than the golf cart for the Ft., he thinks it would be funny to roll in with the car hauler loaded with the golf cart, the RZR, and Ranger all on it.....of course he knows that would not go well with the cast members there and would likely get us kicked out but he would love to see the look on their faces......
