I was wondering if any of your wonderful teens has any ideas for a gentle acne treatment. My dd is starting to break out and just looking for ideas. Thanks!

I use this thing called Stridex(sensitive version). It's alcohal free, and easy to use. You just open the thing and take out one of the face scrubber pad things and you throw it away when you're done

I started breaking out a couple years ago, when I was around 10 or 11. And I've been using these. You just use them in the morning and at night, and it clears up your face in like a week or so. I don't know what type of skin your DD has, but they work amazingly for me. They're about 5 bucks at a drug store, so they're not too expensive or hard to find either.

My friend and her mom use Estee Lauder, and I use Clinique. I did try something starting with a V (from el) that is made from goat's milk. It's a miracle in a jar! Tell her to not freak out though, I started getting acne at 8! LOL :lmao:

Its often in this age of acne and its really very painful for teens. If you want to treat acne than you must drink much water in the day and avoid oily foods. You should eat green fresh foods so that you can avoid the acne.

I am lucky because I never really have had breakouts so far. I have no idea why but yeah lol. To keep my skin clear though I use some face mask my mom picks up at the Health Food store. Sorry hope this helps though! Good luck! :goodvibes tell her dw she's still pretty anyways (:

Well really the best thing to prevent it is to stay away from to much greasy food and not to eat alot of junk food. To get rid of it you can pop them thats what i do when they start to get dried out just before they get a white cap i squeeze them with two fingers from the base of the zit and basically force all the puss out but be warned on certain zits it hurts and smaller ones I scratch off but for big ones I take a needle (after I use alcohol wipes or what evers handy to clean it) and poke a few holes in them and again squeeze the puss out but be warned this can hurt too and if you choose this method make sure to use alcohol after to kill what ever germs are inside that caused the zit and to keep it clean from getting it again and no im not crazy i just do what works

I used to have acne too, but its alot better now and its almost gone! I used BenzaClin, its a perscription so you have to get it from the doctor. It works WONDERS (: ummm face wash wise, I use this stuff i got on the Disney Dream at the teen spa. Its by Elemis. its Elemis freshskin peachy perfect (gentle face wash) and Elemis freshskin skin glow (exfoliating face wash). I ust the exfolating wash twice a week and the peachy perfect every day. You can get both (as well as pretty much anything else) from timetospa.com If you don't want to spend that much money, you can just go to walmart or meijer or where ever and buy some kind of face wash (i like Cetaphil).

I also have moderate back acne, bacne, whatever you wanna call it :) and i use Body Clear body wash (in pink grapefruit) from Neutrogena for my shoulders and stuff and then Body Clear body spray from Neutrogena every night and that works really good too!!

Hope this helped! :goodvibes

I've had acne since I was 8, and it's hard to deal with when you're a pre-teen! I use a gentle, but fast-acting cleaner called Cetaphil. I've used it for a while now and it works great! Just remind her to use it every day, and that getting acne earlier may be a good thing, as it may go away sooner too! At least that's how it happened with me!
