I can't help you with finding the scrapbook, but I wanted to make a suggestion if you don't mind. If you put pictures in your book, please use the individual plastic covers for each picture. I have two scrapbooks, one from 1910 and one from the early 50's that belonged to my great aunts. They pasted pictures into them. Some of the pictures came loose and there was writing on the back (a genealogist's treasure!) Now I'm trying to loosen the rest of them to find out who all these people in the photos are. It's painstaking and time consuming work to not destroy the photos and maintain the writing. I'm sure they never thought that 50 and 100 years later someone would be looking at those books for research. It would have been so much easier if they had the scrapbooking products back then that we have today. It's possible that your scrapbook may be floating around in another 100 years or so, too. It would be a shame if the pictures weren't protected.
