Wow! That's just astounding. I usually try to make exact change when I pay for stuff to avoid coming home with pockets full of spare change. Maybe I'd better change that habit now.

This happens more times than I can count.....most cashiers around here do not know how to count change back unless the register tells them how much they are supposed to give back.

I'm not defending the employee AT ALL, but I worked fast food at one time and it did get annoying when people would give you a buttload of change just so they could get a $5 bill in return.

Hee hee, my favorite was when a guy paid me once and he was a penny short. I told him and he said, "I don't want to break a $10." Ohhhhhhh, well since you put it that way..... NOT!! LOL

I always give change so I can get bills back. I cant believe anyone would even care how it was paid for as long as it was paid.
