You had to of known that by starting a thread on politics, you were opening a can of worms and that people would get into debates over it. You were caught in the cross-fire and I'm sorry for that. Lol. We had this huge debate about it in class today. We were talking about how kids don't have as much understanding and respect for what this country was founded on. How we shouldn't trade with China because of the way they treat their workers, and how that goes against our personal values.

One idiot raised his hand and said, "I think part of the reason that nobody cares about what our founding fathers said, is because this country is too free".

If the teacher hadn't changed the subject right then and there, I would have raised my hand and said this...

"So what? Your going to take away MY freedom. MY liberty. MY rights as an American Citizen, because the bozo down the street wont teach his kid about who they are as an American, and the beliefs that this country was founded on? That's obsurd"

haha, I got into a debate/fight with someone today in history. We were talking about how i think Iraq cant become a democracy cuz they are too inot their religion. and this kid said something and idk why but i got really mad and shot back at him and we started arguing, but this isnt uncommon for me, expecially with him...
