I received a promotional card from American Express yesterday; Book a WDW vacation from American Express Travel or WDW CRO and travel between October ??? and December 25th, and receive DOUBLE MILES on the deposit, all Disney hotel charges, meals at WDW restaurants, tickets, etc. etc. I have the Delta Sky Miles card so I called them and they are also offering the same double miles. I have already planned to go over Thanksgiving so this is a real bonus for me. I will be leaving the Travelers Checks home and pulling out the plastic.

I have looked at other credit cards in order to accummulate miles; in fact, I got an offer from Chase yesterday that offers one mile per dollar. The miles accummulated on the Chase card however expire after five years. The Amex/Delta Sky Miles card's miles do not expire and there is plenty of opportunity to accummulate double miles (gas, groceries, home improvement stores, pharmacies, cell phone, Delta tickets) five miles her dollar (MCI) and on the dine out program, 10 miles per every dollar spent at a participating restaurant. This past quarter, Bertucci's is participating. Our family of six has been to Hawaii twice from Ct. on free air miles, so it has been worth the annual fee to me.
