My DM is travelling with us and the only question she asked if Disney offered any programs for seniors? She specifically asked about any Bingo games. Anyone have any knowledge on this on site or off?

While there are many attractions and shows that seniors would enjoy, I don't know of any organized activities. Anyone else know?:earsboy:

Old Key West has Goofy Bingo daily at the Community Hall. Go to the front desk and ask for a schedule.

Is that open to anyone? Or just DVC members?

You know, this is actually a good question as I'm sure many seniors visiting the parks would love a "restful" activity of some kind to attend while the rest of their family is doing the parks from sunrise to sunset. Maybe it's something Disney should look into. My parents would probably love it!

Why not send an e-mail to Disney and ask that question. I sure someone will be able to tell you if there are any games on property. I have never heard of any but I am not a bingo fan.

I take my father & aunt/uncle and they're in their late 70s, early 80's and they've never inquired of me about any extra for seniors because they love what's there already. Not the roller coasters, but the other attractions and shows, seeing the resorts, oh and they LOVE riding their ECV's about. They love the parks, food, and people watching. If your DM has never been, she might not realize she won't have time for bingo!lol Tell her she can bingo at home!

There's nothing on the activities listing sheet that indicates you must be staying at OKW or be a DVC member. The only thing I see on Hank's Happenings (the activity sheet) is that DVD rentals are free for DVC members. There are no other restrictions, other than general ones (i.e. weather permitting).

There was Bingo at the SSR pool when I was there in June and there were lots of Seniors buying cards!

This is something that I have also wondered, as we take my parents with us quite often. They usually have their list of favorites that they try and fit in (Comedy Warehouse, Ohana, Downtown Disney shopping, everything World Showcase). But I am interested to hear what others find extra fun for seniors. :goodvibes

I just told my grandma, "Hey, guess what I just read they have at Disney?" She actually threw her hands in the air and cheered, LOL! She hasn't been to WDW since my grandpap died in '88 and this may be the thing that could talk her into a trip, LOL!

Anymore details would be appreciated if anyone knows!!
