I don't know what to do now. I booked a car through National using the Priceless code and the Entertainment coupon for "One Free Weekend Day". The website accepted both of the codes. I keep checking daily to see if my rates have gone down and a couple of days ago the website rejected the Entertainment coupon saying that I will have the car too long. Sure enough when I finally remember to look at the terms on the back of the coupon it says that you can only rent for a maxium of 4 days.

So ... today I go in search of a car rental (full size) and the cheapest I can get is up around $200. I tried Priceline, but my bid for a full size and minivan were not accepted so now I have to wait 7 days to try again.

Any suggestions? Or are there any good codes floating about? I went to the Rental Coupons website and tried all of the ones that they have.

The price that I had with National was $149 for a full size.

The most reasonable reasonable price that I have found out there was $238 for a minivan with Thrifty. I am going to book that and hope that I can get something lower.

BTW, our travel dates are 11/29-12/5.

If they accepted your original reservation with the coupon, I would keep it, they will most likely honor it.

I am thinking that too because when I read my confirmation it says that the minimun length of the rental is 5 days and the maximum rental is 28 days.

AHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I don't know which to go by. If I call and give them my ressie to look at and tell them what is going in they will probably make a note to charge me more.

I am hoping that a good deal will come through by the end of the month so that I can just cancel this reservation and be done with it so that I don't have to worry.

bumping up for suggestions.

I would just keep the ressie,I'm sure they won't do anything. Just last week we did the same thing, free weekend day with Saturday night keep, and return by Monday noon. We kept it until Tuesday at noon and nobody said anything. As long as the computer accepts it I don't thing there will be a problem, especially on EA.

Good luck.
