Don't know much about Disney stuff

Hello and thanks in advance for any response...

I am not a Disney collector but my mother was. Now, she passed a few years ago and I was given all of her stuff. Not until recently was I able to go through the boxes and I came upon a bunch of Disney figures/plates/cups and other stuff. I do not have space to display these items and with my children I would be afraid to.

I know Disney stuff is collectible but I am not sure if what I have here is common or collectible. I am not really looking to sell these items but I would like to have a little more knowledge about them. As of now they are sitting in a box wrapped up in my closet. Like I said, I am not looking to sell these but would like to know about them and if I should store them more properly to avoid any type of damage.

If anybody could give me a little more insight on these items I would be very thankful. I took a few pictures and posted them on Photobucket (link below).

Cute stuff, but I doubt any of it is going to be worth very much on the collectible market. The ceramic figures were commonly sold in the parks in the 1980s (I think).

Do an E-Bay search for similar items. This will give you a ball park figure of what some of your items are selling for on the open market. If there aren't similar items on E-Bay then you might have something rare. There is quite a market for Disney memorabilia. If you can find the right collector you might have some really valuable things. Have a nice day and good luck.

I did a few searches on different sites (ebay included) but could not really find matching items. There seems to be a lot of Disney stuff out there. I think I will just keep them packed up for now. Thanks again for taking the time to answer me.
