I'd appreciate if you'd keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow. I'm going for my next 4 month scans, which is actually 11 months out of treatment. My schedule got screwed up so this is my 9 month checks.

I get to sit in a claustrophobic tube for 2 hours. Yay me!
=)

Lots and lots of luck!

ETA: You have to lay in that thing for 2 hours!? Holy crap.

Thanks Jenny and Alison!
Yeah. With MRIs, you aren't supposed to have any metal. Unfortunately, it's not like I can rip my leg open and yank everything out. So, they machine breaks. What's supposed to be 45 minutes turns into 2 hours. They put this gigantic thing around my knee too and I'm not allowed to move.

Yeah, it sucks, but if it keeps me aware of any tumors, I'll do it.

I'll be praying for you Sonya! Good luck!!! :)

Good luck today! Prayers will be headed your way!

BTW, last time I had an MRI for my knee (I had osgood slaughters) I panicked and they had to stop.

Thanks Ash, Elin, Emily, and Rhiannon (?)!
It's over with now so we just have to wait for the results.

Uh, my mom is going to pick the slides/CDs up either tomorrow or later this week. My appointments are the 20th, so once the doctors review it we know for sure. That doesn't mean I sneak a peak tho. (;

Awww, good luck!

MRI's are no fun at all. I've had to get those done since I was really little-the last one being a few months ago. It was awful. I think I've gradually gotten more claustrophobic as I've grown older, because the only thing that was keeping me from completely freaking out was the head phones they put on me. They put this thing over my head too (that looked kind of like the inside of a laundry basket), so I had to shut my eyes and completely zone into what little of the music I could hear to keep myself from panicking.

Here's hoping everything turns out ok!

:lmao:
Hope the results are okay for you Sonya! :]

Alrighty so my scans are clear. We read the reports and there's nothing to cause alarm.
Thank God.
