We are going on our first trip to Disneyland the first week of Feb.

We are from Nashville...where in Feb, it can get pretty chilly. I know it won't be as cold in California, but I have read that it is their "cooler" time of year. What should I pack for us? Jeans? Tee shirts....Long or short sleeved or both?

We usually go to Disneyworld in October when it is still very hot...so I usually know exactly how to pack...and I can take extra clothes because we drive...but this is a whole new ballgame...We are flying so I have to be careful about how much I pack

Any help would be greatly appreciated:goodvibes

Thanks!!

I would go with the layered look in February, you will need jeans, short sleeved and long sleeved shirts and a coat. I start checking the weather the week before we leave to narrow down my choices, but when we were there last January, I was surprised how cold it felt at night. I always throw in one pair of shorts in case it warms up, but usually wear jeans, a short sleeved shirt, with a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt (it's chilly in the am) then if it warms up I can take off the long sleeves. We usually go to the room mid day for a rest and then I take the coat for nighttime.

Jeans for sure. You might bring a single pair of shorts, but chances are you won't need them. A sweatshirt or jacket for evenings will be important or you will be shelling out $60 for Disney one the first night there.

I would agree on layering the clothing...put a short sleeve t under a long sleeve shirt under a sweatshirt or jacket. You won't get down to the t only, but you will have that option.

We were there last November and also went with the layered look. We wore jeans everyday with a short sleeved shirt and heavier jacket or sweat shirt. By mid morning DD and I had our jackets tied around our waists. I think they were having unusual warm weather. We typically went back to the room in the afternoons and added a long sleeved shirt and sometimes a scarf and gloves. Nights were quite chilly.

Layers are great. Capris might be fine during the day, but evening is cooler. We were there just over a week ago and when it got cold at night, I wore 2 sweatshirts and was fine. I wouldn't worry about a coat as they take up a lot of space and are heavy.

Its too hard to tell. Your best bet would be to bring everything. Preferred bring heavy stuff and if its really becomes too hot, T-shirts are a lot cheaper than jackets and such.
