...my wife and I were able to get a table at Cindy's without any trouble.

Here's what we did.

She got on our main phone. I got on our cell phone. We both started dialing at 6:50 am. We both got through at about 6:58 (!). My wife was put on hold. I wasn't. They quickly put me through and I snared a PS for 8:50 60 days out (mid-July.) It was a lot easier than I thought -- and it was our first shot.

One possible help: we did this on a Sunday morning. When most sane people are still asleep. Maybe that was the secret?? That and, perhaps, that we just needed a table for two.

Anyway, in the big roulette wheel of Disney priority seating...we won!

We did the b'fast last year and loved it and can't wait to do it again.

I think getting a table for two was part of the secret.

I've been able to get a table for two at 25 days with no problem...but try getting a table for 6 at 60 days--oy!

Dh and I both got ressies for Cindy's last Sunday morning too! I got through immediately, no holding, dh said he was on hold for 45 seconds or so. I just canceled our extra ressie this morning. Ours is for a table for 4 at 10am. I wanted a later seating so we can do the EMH. Wear a green ribbon, maybe we'll see you leaving as we are getting there!

I've also been lucky when calling for CRT PSs - we've been fortunate enough to go every year since 2000. Here's hoping I can get one for this year too!

Just a brief observation: you are not alone in your luck at getting Cindy's PS. I also attribute it to the lower number of people traveling to WDW. It makes it so much less crazy for the wdw travelers. Although I do hope that attendance increases to the expected levels or we are sure to have more cuts .

I just called today for a PS at Cindy's for 60 days from now (mid July), and was hugely surprised that i got through first time. I was prepared to be calling every morning this week to try and get a spot sometime during our week in WDW. I wasn't put on hold or anything, and we got a ps for 7 people (although they said it will be at separate tables, which I'm a little bummed about - do they even have tables for 7 and should I try again for another date?). I'm wondering if it's due to lower attendence for July??? I kind of hope so... I don't really want it to be mobbed.

I also got through on my first try. It almost doesn't seem real. With the great tips on this board we do have an advantage over others! But besides that you either get it (the PS) or you don't. Somebody has to get them. It probably also helps if you get a knowledgeble CM to answer the call and snag the PS.
