Don't give up on ADRs you really want!

I'm going to Disney in 9 days I made my ADRs in June. I really wanted an ADR at Cali Grill so that we could watch the fireworks while we ate. The fireworks are set for 10pm the night we are going. The closest ADR I could get was at 5:50pm. I just went online and got a 9:15pm ADR

Moral of the story . . . if you really want a certain ADR . . . keep looking

Agree completely...I checked for two weeks for a Playhouse Disney character Play & Dine ressie and just landed it tonight, at the Disney site!

Thanks so much for the encouraging words! I have been trying almost daily for a few weeks to get a Planet Hollywood ADR and not having much luck. I was getting frustrated, but you both gave me renewed hope!

I arrive in 9 days from today on te 10th!!! Im also going for Thanksgiving and kept trying to get Chef Mickey's I finally did !! SO keep checking and if all else fails call disney dining they may help you better than the computer. remember things can be on hold for 2 hours online while people look for their ressies. so what is not there one moment can be the next!! good luck everyone.

I'm looking for a Tutto Italia reservation in October and have been checking everyday I remember last trip, I really wanted an ADR for the Tusker House breakfast and got one about a week before we were leaving. It's a great feeling when you finally get it!

YAY . . . I'm so glad other people are having luck with their ADRS too!!! People really do cancel all the time, so keep trying, fellow DISers

We are going at the end of Sept, and when it was our 90 days out we had totally diff plans than we have now (we were staying at akl for the entire trip - now are doing a split stay with gf, and flight time became a lot earlier). Bottom line, we cancelled all of our original ressies (none were really hard to get ones). Since the beginning of July I have been able to get usL: Le Cellier lunch, Akershus breakfast, Ohana breakfast, 8:05 am crystal palace breakfast, narcoossee's, and sci fi dine in lunch. I didn't think there was a chance with free dining I was going to get a lot of those. But I obsessively (and I mean OBSESSIVELY) kept checking all day at work rotfl and day by day got them. I was so happy - those are all perfect for us. So, def keep trying!!
