Hi,

I'm very new to this thread but really enjoy reading everyone's opinions. We are leaving on Monday for our first ever Disney trip!! There are 12 of us going in total and I was in charge of making all of our ADR's!:scared:
I did pretty good except I have been trying everyday for the past 6 weeks to get into Tuskar House. After many, many calls I finally got an ADR today!! We are going next Thursday morning at 8:35am!! I'm still trying to get 'Ohana's for dinner one night with no luck but I definitely think it is always worth it to keep calling.

Good advice. It also depends on what time of day you call in my experience. I always call early afternoon. I hope I'm not giving away my secrets - LOL.

Thats a lot of planning for 12! Have a great trip! Give us a TR - I am taking my sister and BIL and Mom and Dad next Feb - need all the help I can get.

My first call only got me 2 of the 7 ADRs I wanted. But I kept calling and got them all eventually. I even got Le Cellier! It is for late lunch at 2:30- but that's OK. Don't give up!

We decided about a week ahead to make a quickie trip during Spring Break. Most of the hotels were full and I thought it was a waste of my time to even try for any ADR's. But, I must have called right when they released more tables because I was able to snag BOMA's, Tony's & Flying Fish at the exact times we wanted to eat. The cast member I talked to seemed as surprised as I was. I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to the availability of tables - but don't ever give up!

Persistance can indeed pay off. We had lunch reservations at Le Cellier for May 21, but DD really wanted dinner. I tried not to laugh.

So when I called DVC member services (and they can do ADRs, too), the CM said there was nothing available, but she insisted that I keep trying.

On my second attempt -yesterday - we were able to score a 6:40 pm ADR. And that is less than a month out.

Hang in there, and don't despair!

You are all giving me hope that I'll be able to get my Crystal Palace dinner reservation!!! ;)

A couple of tips we learned from CM's. We needed a Fantasmic dinner at Brown Derby for 3. There were no tables for 3 available so the CM gave us 2 reservations, one for 2, one for 1 within 10 minutes of each other. Told us to ask to be seated together when we arrived, which we did. It worked out perfectly, and without the CM suggesting this we would have never gotten in. Also, we got dinner at LeCellier last Friday night but stopping by the concierge in one of the resorts. Again, no tables for 3, but there was one for 4 so she booked it for us and told us just to say someone got sick if we were questioned...which we weren't. Moral of the story? There's a way to get the ADR's you want...just need a little CM help sometimes.

That is what the CM who was booking my ADRs did for me. I wanted a ressie at LeCellier for 6 people and he was able to book me 2 tables for 3 each. We were seated together.

Totally agree! We were shut out of Ohana, told nothing available for our June day trip. I called back on Saturday and was able to score a late dinner reservation for the day we wanted. Previously we were told nothing available at all at Sci Fi, and then a bunch of openings came up for that restaurant, too. Its annoying to have to call back, give all of your info, verify name, address, etc. (not sure why you have to give so much information just to get a dining reservation), but worth it!

:cool1::lovestruc:lovestruc
We just booked CM for May 10 at 7:45 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been calling for days and weeks! Keep trying!

All the best!!!!
