Set the DVR, but is anyone else as disappointed with it as we are this year? DD kept asking where is the parade, and then we realized is is not even called a parade this year. DD said this is mostly just people talking way way way too much with a few songs from mostly people I don't know. She finally left the room to go play with her new stuff instead. She came back to watch the Olaf number. Bummer! I know the last couple of years has been almost more commercial than parade, put at least there was still enough parade and parks stuff that we would still cuddle up and have our Christmas morning watching it. A lot of the parade stuff is not even from the Christmas parade. I think we will have to hit YouTube and find the Christmas parade later! Is it just us, or does anyone else feel the same way.

Set my DVR yesterday, haven't seen the parade yet. Instead we are watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation....I know not very Disney but still a favorite for us .

Love it, but DD is not quite old enough for it yet! With 30 minutes left, DD, who had come back in the room with stuff, asked if I would turn the Disney parade off and put a Christmas show or DVD in, and then we could just fast forward the last of it later to see if there was anything worth watching. DD is a total Disney kid who has not missed the Christmas morning parade since she was born! That tells you how bad she thinks it is this year! Luckily we caught the live feed of the parade from MVMCP a couple of weeks ago. It was taken from the train station. Don't know if that one was preserved and put on YouTube, but we will be looking for it later today!

It was terrible. You didn't miss anything. We turned the channel about 35 minutes in.

Yeah..it's always been a big Disney commercial, but at least in the past it was a commercial for the parks and showcased the parks. This year really seemed like it was more about the performances and showcasing aulani than anything else. I miss seeing the actual parade like we used to

Well said. Very disappointing. I loved these telecasts in the distant past (think 20 years ago) but they have evolved to a place right now where I only watch to catch the scenery.

Horrible! What a waste of time. I was looking forward to seeing the actual parade, big disappointment! Maybe a total of 5 minutes out of 2 hours you saw the parade. Next year I probably won't bother.

I know i was dissapointed. For some reason people in our area including myself didnt have voices, only background music and the performances, so i turned on subtitles so i could watch the "parade" but after 2 hours and seeing 3 floats i was dissapointed in this years. And it was a frozen celebration but i didnt think they even did as much with that as the could imo
