Don't forget to check you reservations etc.

Interesting time with MS today. I had made a reservation at the 11 month widow for a 1 bedroom at OKW, we were short on OKW points to make the complete reservation. So we had to wait till the 7 month window to finish the reservation with SSR points. I was out of town traveling and had Lynn (DW) finish the reservation this morning. I happened to check the reservation online later today and noticed the points were all off, and found we had two reservations for two, two bedroom units at the same time. :scared1:  :worried: :scratchin

Called Lynn and asked what was up with the two reservation and she said “what?”. I said that’s what it shows and the points are way off. Lynn said the CM she first spoke with mentioned they were having computer problems. :badpc: She called and got it straitened out with MS. They were very good about it. :yay: No probs in making the corrections. :yay:

The moral of the story is make your reservation and check it and check it again, and always get your remaining point balance to confirm that it matches your records. :teacher:

I always get the name of the CM I talked to and get reservation, banking, or cancellation numbers. I am thinking about recording the calls to MS for my records. I use Quicken to keep track of our points, so I can readily access what our point balance should be. :thumbsup2 ::yes::

MS does a great job, but mistakes, computer burps, etc do happen. So do check and keep an eye on your point balance and reservations. :sunny:

Hope I got this on hte correct forum, sorry if I made a boo boo.

Yes, I love that we can check our ressies & points online. I caught a mistake by MS and had to call to have it corrected. I cancelled a 1 bedroom and booked two studios, the ressie crosses my use year (begins in one use year, ends in the next) and they apparently made one studio ressie before cancelling the the 1 bedroom, so the system automatically borrowed points that didn't need to be borrowed for the first part of the ressie. They corrected it, of course, but the account shows a manual adjustment.

At least you had a room! :) I'm on the contract with my parents, and my mom and I have the same first and last names, but a different middle initial. Making our reservations and keeping them separate are a challenge for us and MS (who always show infinite patience in this). Well, Mom and Dad decided to tag along on my recent vacation. Mom was making their reservations and couldn't get all the days she wanted at BWV. So she waitlisted them and made reservations at BCV, where I had made mine, just in case the waitlist didn't come through. When the waitlist did come through, MS asked her if she wanted to cancel the BCV reservations. She said yes.

You all see what happened, right? Yep, my reservations got canceled as well. Thank goodness I decided to invite one of my friends along last minute and called to add her to the ressie a few days before I was to leave. My heart about stopped when the CM said, "What BCV reservation?" :scared1:

Long story short, after much negotiation and begging, MS was able to find me a room at BWV. It turned out OK, but wow were things crazy for a bit! So we've learned to be more careful in making and changing our ressies, and I'm going to be sure to confirm mine from now on!
