I made a design for our shirts and submitted it to Zazzle on July 10.

I called them on Tuesday since I never received them. I was told that my order was inadvertently cancelled, but they would upgrade the shipping and I would have them by today. He asked me if he could charge the credit card that I originally used when I placed the order, and I told him yes. Well the time that UPS, Fed Ex and the USPS come to my house has come and gone so I just called them back. I spoke with the same person (Charles) and was told that they didn't do anything with my order since it was cancelled. He also denied everything that he told me on Tuesday about upgrading the shipping, charging my credit card and me having them by today. He told me that he can't change an order that's been cancelled, that I have to place the order again. After we argued about this, and I told him the internet is such a wonderful thing. He asked what I meant, so I told him about the message boards that I go to and that I was going to post what a horrible business they run and that they cancel orders without informing the customer and then promise things and deny ever saying them and to never buy from them. After that, he decided that he wouldn't charge me for the shirts and would overnight them to me so I would have them by tomorrow. I don't know how he can do this since he told me he can't order shirts from an order that was cancelled, but we'll see. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for the shirts, and I'm never going to order from them again. I am also going to send them an email describing what happened, but I'm going to send it tomorrow just in case he's really sending the shirts.

I am so upset since I was going to wear that shirt to the DIS meet at KOP mall on Saturday and don't have time to go and buy shirts and make them myself.

I'm not expecting to receive the shirts. I can't believe he told me he never said all the things he told me on Tuesday. He even told me "I promise you that you will have the shirts on Thursday".

Sorry for the rant, but I can't believe all this.

That sucks! I hate to hear that--it is bad customer service. I love that you told him that, though. Keep us posted--maybe they will come in! :wave2:

Don't just email.....write letters to the Better Business Bureau.

Thank you for the heads up! I was going to order one for my daughter's bday.

I don't need to deal with that kind of bs. I'll try making one myself or find another site.

Thanks,
Susan

When you send them an email, include a link to this thread. Let them see for themselves how bad customer service affects them. If they follow through as promised, be sure to update the thread as well.

Hope it works out well for you.

I will definitely post an update when I get home from work tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be good news. Especially since his attitude changed when I mentioned the internet boards.

I don't know much about zazzle, but the disneystore.com has the design your own t-shirts on clearance right now. I think they were around $13, but check it out for yourself. Renessa

I'm glad you posted this. I was going to order 7 shirts from there but forget it now!!!!

Thank you so much for letting us know. I was going to get shirts made for my rehearsal dinner for the family, but not now! I can't believe how the level of service has dropped! For a company that sells Disney merchandise you would think they would take a page out of the Disney customer service guide. I don't know if you'll get your shirts but I really hope if you do that they are the right size and design! And again thank you so much for informing all of us here!

You can do a chargeback on your credit card! Read the back of your credit card statement to find out how.

I don't think it is fair to boycott a company because of one persons experience with them.

It is something to consider before ordering but you haven't heard the other side of the story.

Well, I got home from work and guess what?? No shirts. I just got off the phone with Charles (the same guy I spoke with Tuesday and yesterday). He has no explanation as to why I didn't get the shirts. They were never even made! I told him about the internet boards and all these posts that people made about this. Now he is supposedly looking into the problem and will call me back since I told him I am going to update my posts with what he says.

He called me back and told me that there was a problem making one of the shirts yesterday, and they couldn't get it done in time to send out. He gave me a DHL tracking number and told me that they would be delivered tomorrow (Saturday). This would be fine, but we're going to a DIS meet in Pennsylvania tomorrow (which is why I wanted the shirts by tomorrow) and are leaving the house at 8:30 am. I know there is no way that DHL is going to deliver the shirts before 8:30 am so this doesn't help me.

He then told me how sorry he was that they weren't made and delivered for today and that he knows how good a Company's service is depends on whether or not a customer comes back. He had a very different attitude today than what he did yesterday. I wonder if he somehow managed to find and read my posts. Anyway, I still don't have my shirts. I guess I'll see if they're here when I get home tomorrow, and I will post another update either tomorrow or Sunday.

There's still hope that this problem might be fixed even if it is a little late. Still doesn't change the fact that I won't be ordering from zazzle.com anymore since I don't want to have to go through this again.

Thanks for listening.

People are free to do what they want. I am just telling everyone what happened to me, and it is up to them if they want to buy from Zazzle or not. I know I would want someone to post about their problem with a company so I can decide if I want to order from them.

What's the other side? Its simple they did not produce.

After he knew he already messed up once by not sending them originally, you'd think someone would have called when they knew the order wouldn't get out yesterday.

Just got home from our DIS meet (had a great time) and no t-shirts from zazzle.com like they promised. I checked the DHL tracking number and found out that the shirts are scheduled to arrive on Monday, August 2 instead of today like they were supposed to. Guess they decided to not pay for Saturday delivery.

When Monday comes, will the shirts arrive??? It's anyone's guess at this point.

So the saga continues.....

piglet33,

I'm very sorry you had such terrible problems with your order. How frustrating!

I'd like to offer another experience with zazzle. My daughter and her dad designed some shirts and put them on the zazzle site, available to order (not the Disney ones, but original artwork). We ordered several for ourselves and know of other people who ordered them. We've had really good service the three times we ordered. In fact, the last time my husband ordered a shirt, he accidentally ordered the wrong size...he called later to see if he could change it, and even though they had already printed his shirt and the mistake was his, they printed a new one in the size we needed and did not charge us any extra.

I hope you understand I'm in no way trying to minimize the bad experiences you had--just saying, based on our experience (with non-Disney shirts on zazzle) that perhaps the problems you had are not the norm. Maybe some others who have ordered will weigh in.

I wonder if part of the problem is what I would assume was very rapid growth when they added the Disney line? Not an excuse for poor service but maybe an explanation.

My shirts arrived today from zazzle.com, but they're wrong. I had 3 different designs created (one for each shirt), and they put the wrong ones on the wrong shirts. I just checked my email for the order, and I'm right. Guess in all the rush to finally get them out to me, they put the wrong designs on the wrong shirts.

Oh well, I just found some software from Hanes on hanes2u.com that I downloaded and bought the iron on paper from them since it seems like a pretty good quality. I also bought the shirts from another site that zazzle used since they are pretty heavy duty. I'll just wait for them to come in the mail and make my own.

Boy what a problem this whole thing was. Glad it's over though, and I did learn a lesson to never order from them again.

Are they refunding your money & will you send back the shirts? It does seem sometimes that once something gets screwed up, things continue to go wrong during the whole process.

Sorry it was such a bad experience.
