I dont know if this has been brought up or not. I just donated all my reward points I had. But I wanted to make sure everyone knows if there company matches 'charitable contributions'. My company will double anything we donate. I belive for us it has to be at least $25 for them to match the same. But this weekend I wrote a check at my bank without thinking about my companys policy. My contribution would have been doubled.
So if your not sure yuou may want to check with your Human Resources department.
Also, my DD is president of there 'humananities' group. She has always been very active in raising money for those in need or simply trying to get others to recognize the issues that our world faces. What I am gettting at though is her school has teamed up with a bank and the bank is going to TRIPPLE whatever they come up with. So if your work does not do it you may check around at some of the schools in your area. (She goes to a Charter School, although I doubt that makes a difference)
