Donating tickets - can we still get the free pins?

I've got a random question for y'all.

We have annual passes, so we're thinking of donating our tickets to charity. As silly as it seems, I would really like to get the Miss Piggy/Kermit buttons that they are giving out to those that redeem their vouchers.

It seems like donating the tickets has to be done online, so I wouldn't get the free button. Is that true, or can I donate my ticket at the parks?

I know it's silly, but I'd really like that button, LOL.

so apparently you can bring the tickets with you & you can still get a button at the designated place in either of the parks THEN when you get home you can donate the tickets online & still get the button at WDW. that is what we are doing - we'll be there apr 30 thru may 6 so i can let you know how it goes.

Gotcha, that makes sense. So if I show my voucher at the window, they'll tell me to donate the tickets online at home, but still give me the button. Is that right?

Not sure if they'll take the voucher or not BUT just bring it with you to (let's say you're at MK) welcome center & ask them for a button; you can show them the voucher & tell them you're donating the tickets but would still like a button.

On-line, I donated mine & the dh's and then printed out vouchers for the kids so one can get the fp at epcott and the other can get the hat/pin set. It gives you an option to print out a certificate of appreciation for the donated ones. I was going to bring those with me and hope I can get the muppet pin.

we'll if you redeem the voucher for your daughter's then she will of course get her pin and then you can show them y'alls print-outs & i'm sure there shouldn't be a problem with you all getting your pins. i'll have to remember your idea & use it for when we go.

I was able to get the pins at Guest Relations in MK. My DH never got one on our first day when he turned in his voucher at the MK Will Call so they gave him one. I explained to them that I wasn't turning in my voucher until our last day for fast passes and wanted a pin to wear all week, so they gave me one also!
