I just cancelled our lunch reservation at Yek & Yeti and booked Donald's Safari Breakfast. Does anyone have any pictures or opionions of this breakfast??

Thanks!!

sorry i don't have any pictures, but we were there 2 years ago and thought it was very good. great character interaction and good food. as long as we're able to get ADRs for our upcoming trip, we're going there again and can't wait!!

We just booked our visit to Tusker House this week. We went last year in June too. We loved it. The atmosphere was awewome. Food was good. Lines could get a little slow, but nothing to crazy. If you are there early in the morning you get a short jump over to the Safari.

We just ate there last week and really enjoyed it. I don't have any pictures (even though I kept thinking I should take pictures, my kids kept distracting me)...I think that the buffet is probably the largest, most diverse spread of any of the places we've gone to for breakfast. They had everything! Our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious. The only downside was the characters seemed rushed...I would definitely go there again!

We've done many character breakfasts and Tusker House is our least favorite. The character interaction was not very good - the characters were very rushed & the seating was rather cramped making it difficult to take pictures. However, the buffet was good and there was a nice variety. Tusker House was not a bad experience for us, but it just pales in comparison to the other character breakfasts.

:) My Daddy likes Donald duck, crabbyness and all......so we book it for our adult trip last Decemeber. We had an 8:40 a.m. ADR and were let in early. It got packed really fast. They took a group pic which we did not purchase. THe characters were rushed but seemed to give the kids individual attention. I got a pic of Daisy, Donald with Daddy, Mama with the Mouse himself and Goofy. It was a cute and fun experience. The special juice they serve was good and it was a nice buffet. Great one time experience with the parents, DH and I will not do it again......

We loved it. The food was really good and the character interaction was great. Each character took their time and we saw them 3 times each. We had a later breakfast.

We love the food at this breakfast. The characters are just an added bonus. We eat a late breakfast here, make it a brunch, because there are many non-typical breakfast items to eat. I like the way the food is set up in pods rather than a long buffet so it makes it easier to fill up the plates.

I don't think the character interaction here is any more rushed than what we have experienced at some of the other character meals.

We thought Tusker House Breakfast was very LOUD! Most character meals are but this was was exceptionally loud and frantic-kids banging musical instruments and parading around the room.

I have never dined here but this is one character restaurant we must eat at this year. We love AK, Daisy and Donald and this restaurant seems to get more positive reviews than other character dining.

Sorry...complete idiot popping in...Donald's Safari Breakfast and Tusker House are the same thing right?

Yep, Donald's Safari Breakfast takes place at Tusker House!

We went last year and really enjoyed it. We're not huge breakfast eaters, but it had a lot of variety and some different things than the standards. I really enjoyed the bread pudding with vanilla sauce - YUM.

I thought character interaction was fine. We were in the back corner of a side room so I didn't notice if other rooms were crowded. The characters got to us fine and we took pictures up against the wall so no one else was in them -- thought it was ideal.

I went to this character breakfast last year and really enjoyed it. The juice is the same one as at Boma's breakfast, so that and all the food were excellent. The main room was kind of loud (no worse than most character meals), so as a solo, I was just as happy I got placed in the far back room, which was less noisy.

I always think Daisy looks so cute with those long eyelashes.

This was my breakfast plate:

The food was FANTASTIC, and we were in the back room so we didn't find it too noisy.

We ate there last Monday (March 9,) We loved it. It was the kids favorite character buffet. The characters were great visiting each table several times during our breakfast, & the food was awesome. Even my DH enjoyed the food. He can't wait to go back again.

We loved the breakfast here. I was our first ever character meal and I have been to Disney probably more than 20 times. Now that I have 2 small boys, I wanted to try a character meal. The food was great, it was wicked busy because there was a tour group of 75 people with the same time as us and other people!!! I reccomend a early (like 8am) or late (9:30) breakfast to avoid the peak time. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we left at 9:15 ish. The loud parade part where the kids play instruments with Goofy lasts about 10 minutes, the kids loved it. The coffee was great and you can ask for a to go cup and fill er up before you go. We will definately do this again. My Dad is a really conservative spender and hates to spend a lot on food, he said this was a great value and loved the food so will do it again. Oh, and also choose a day where there are No emh to avoid crowds.

Were you done before rope drop? What is the latest reservation you can get and still make rope drop?

Went to Donald's breakfast at the new Tusker House location last year not long after it opened. Food was OK but the character interaction was terrible. Very, very rushed. It seemed like they HAD to get to every kid so that they could be ready to do this dance thing they did. Very disappointed after many positive past trips to Donald's Breakfastasarus at the old location. You do pick up a slight advantage for heading over to Everest but they do make you wait until the crowd from the front gets to the back.

Sadly---probably have crossed this one off the list for next time.
